Originally gave them five stars a month ago, but then the nightmare started. The glasses came after two weeks and I told them on the spot that things didn't look clear. In any of the focal points. They messed with them and nothing was better. They said I needed to get used to them. So I go home. With everything so blurry and double that I was running into walls and throwing up after only five minutes, I brought them back. And was told it was me and to get used to them. So I try again and I almost got into an accident with the single vision sunglasses (because I'm supposed to wear them, but I certainly can't use them for reading). Still double and blurry... clearly that doesn't changes with time. The headaches were nonstop. Next visit they tell me to come in for a recheck - finally!. I had to wait another week. They changed my appointment time last-minute to a time that is impossible for me. I say I can't make it and they tell me to rush or I won't be seen for at least another week. I rush and then sit over an hour without being seen until it is well past the time of my original appointment when it was "impossible for me to be seen." And this is to let them fix their mistake? And when I ask for a refund the response is that it is me not used to progressive glasses. However, one of them wasn't even progressive and those are the ones I tried! But yes, Kerny, it is true... it is hard to get used to the world being blurry and double when it was maybe only slightly blurry without glasses. But why believe the customer? Answer: If I didn't want to have a better life seeing better and without headaches, then why would I have spent hours of driving, waiting, trying the glasses despite the severe headaches and throwing up in a doubled world, and keep coming back to be humiliated in the store by being talked to in a condescending manner and not listed to? They can't get glasses right and didn't even try to make it right after going in four times (really). Being that is all they do... that's pretty bad.

My husband and I, came to this location. We were both going to get glasses, but after the experience he/we had there, I decided I would go elsewhere. The people we encountered were very unfriendly. They would not answer their phone when my husband called to see if his glasses were ready. They said they would call when they were ready, but they did not. The only way he knew they were ready was he call the number recordings and got the recording and followed the prongs other than that we would not have known that they were ready. When we went to go pick them up, the girl did not ask if they felt like they fit right or offer any adjustments. I definitely will not ever go to an Optical Outlet again.

Set up an appointment to get eye exam and glasses. Filled out all the paperwork including my insurance info. The only appointment available was a week away. So I took the appointment. When I arrived to my appointment I was told sorry we do not except your insurance and would have to pay out of pocket. All week they sent me reminders for my appointment but not once did they tell me they didn't take my insurance.. Not good business

I was a first time visitor of Optical Outlets Winter Haven office back in August of 2021 for a scheduled eye exam & to purchase a pair of new eyeglasses. I'm formerly a long time patient of My Eye Dr's Winter Haven office but was having great difficulty getting a timely scheduled eye exam appointment. So, I decided to come here since a family member had done business at this location for her son & was pleased with the services received. It quickly became evident to me that I had made the right choice; although my initial eye exam had to be redone in order to get my actual prescription accurate & the new frames I'd purchased from Optical Outlets literally cracked while wearing them on my face twice to my huge surprise! In spite of all these mishaps, Dr. Ismael & his staff were nothing but cooperative, patient, & accommodating to me & assured me that the issues would be resolved in a timely manner without any extra costs applied. I received time efficient, knowledgeable, & courteous service each time. I want to extend a special thanks to Ms. Natashia George who is the office manager at this location for being so patient, professional, & courteous to me. Not one time, did I ever feel like she was frustrated with me for the repeated visits made to their office due to my ongoing issues. I would certainly recommend Optical Outlets to my family, friends, or anyone who is in need of quality optical care. Thank you all for everything & blessings! Fontello J.

If you go to our website www.opticaloutlets.com on the main page all the way to the right it give you the link to schedule an appointment. Hope this helps!
I could be a week. I had just recently bought two pairs about a week apart and it not in the 2 week time frame did anyone call me to say they came in and ready for pickup. I called 2 weeks after my second order was placed. If your glasses is being paid by insurance that could take the 2 week time frame. Customer Service isn't what it used to because I always got phone calls after your first week 8 days now you have to call them.
While it’s always a good idea to have an annual eye exam, how often an eye exam is needed depends on several factors. A patient’s age, family and personal medical histories, a previous eye injury, existing eye conditions, and environmental or occupational factors determine the recommended frequency. The American Optometric Association offers specific guidelines for both children and adults. As your trusted partner in care, our office will discuss the most appropriate schedule to protect the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision.
It’s essential to remember to bring your current eyeglasses or contact lenses prescription to your visit. If you also wear reading glasses, computer glasses, protective eyewear, or other visual aids, you may want to bring these as well. Because getting your pupils dilated can leave you sensitive to light for several hours following your appointment, it’s wise to bring sunglasses to the appointment.
A comprehensive eye exam involves a series of comfortable and pain-free tests that offer a close-up look at your eye health and visual function. Between having all the tests performed and discussing the results with our eye doctor, you can expect your visit to last up to an hour.
The CDC still recommends even vaccinated persons wear masks inside of medical facilities, therefore we are continuing to require masks at this time.
I think it's just a small practice with only a few doctors trying to take care of a lot of people every time I'm there there's a lot of people there but the Eye Specialists there are absolutely amazing and they've helped my son so much!
Yes, you may have to wait a little bit.
Interesting, is this a chronic problem at this place? 20 minutes after my appointment time the doctor hadn't even arrived to the office yet and the staff didn't even attempt to hide that he hadn't even called to say he was running late. I walked out. Sloppy.
