I never write reviews but this time I feel obligated to. On Monday I was discharged from the hospital and my doctors sent prescriptions to this Publix pharmacy for me to pickup. I am on an infusion that requires a lot of supervision and vitamins to maintain my health. On Monday I went to Publix to pick up my prescriptions as I received a text that they were ready. I picked up 2, I knew there were much more prescriptions needed to be filled and gave them time to fill the remaining prescriptions. On Thursday (today) I stopped by to pick up the rest of my prescriptions as my health was deteriorating due to the fact I didn’t have all the vitamins I needed. I ask a young gentleman if he had prescription for vitamins such as potassium. He told me that it seems that the prescription was canceled and asked pharmacist why. The pharmacist replied saying that they were cancelled because the vitamins were more affordable over the counter. I was completely shocked that they took the initiative to cancel my prescriptions without telling me, as a result of not knowing, I was almost hospitalized due to the deficiency of these vitamins. I SHOULD BE THE ONE WHO MAKES THE DECISION IF I WANT TO PAY FOR THE PRESCRIPTION OR FIND ANOTHER MORE AFFORDABLE ROUTE NOT THE PHARMACIST. The pharmacist then told the young man that I received a text message stating it was cancelled as if that justifies them making a medical decision for me. I ALSO NEVER RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE STATING IT WAS CANCELLED AND I HAVE THE MESSAGES TO PROVE SO. I told the gentleman that I was almost hospitalized because they never informed me of the change. He was in complete shock and told the pharmacist but the pharmacist never came to speak to me personally. She continued to send this poor man to speak for her.

Because of the people who work there are the best than any other grocery store or pharmacy I have used in the last 15 years. Always helpful and going above and beyond especially in the pharmacy. Both Steve and Mary Ann are great pharmacist and Karen and Ross to mention a couple are always helpful and get me in and out .

Excellent service and thorough pharmacy! They are always professional, but caring. A great and rare combination now with corporations and insurance policies. After needing to have prescription medication regularly it was hard to find a pharmacy that was professional and still caring. Then I accidentally found this one, that was a couple of years ago. I still use them for myself and family even though it's over a 30 minute drive because I know they will be most helpful. Plus they always alert us to possible side effects and combinations, without myself having to dig. Publix in general are our go to for great customer service and now we try to only use them for our medical supplies and prescriptions. Thank you guys for being such a great team, and always looking out for the best interest of my daughter and myself! I would rate higher if possible!
