Mike at RI Truck & Trailer is amazing. Very knowledgeable and helped me solve my plow issues. Would definitely recommend RI Truck and Trailer for all your plow and trailer needs.

I came across this shop on Google, for the reason that I was in need of a trailer hitch installed. My experience with this shop was not a good one, I got cheated! Following a scheduled appointment to drop-off my vehicle in the AM, it was in the shop all day just to install the hitch. And then, was told to reschedule to install the wiring which I did later on. The price to install the hitch was reasonable but not for wiring, according to prices with other shops in the state that performs this kind of work. The overall price paid for the complete installation was a burden! This installation was done on a SUV - $459. The scam was executed on the second attempt. At first, the price estimated was roughly close to $300, which I accepted. But, because I didn’t confirm on the second time Mike decided to increase the price without noticed. Further, to put pressure on me as to collect the full amount, the vehicle sat at the shop for the rest of the day until half an hour before closing, plus, it was a three day weekend. The labor was two hours. This would left me without the vehicle for 3 days and my wife needed it for work. Upon arrival at the shop three individuals awaited to receive payments, which was kind of disturbing and intimidating. To say the least, this is a very awful way to conduct business with new costumers and not professional. Review submitted in good FAITH!

Does awesome work on all of your trucks and trailers. They help me get my truck up and going so it could go on a cross country trip to get a complete teardown and rebuild by some guys out of UT without RI truck and trailer I would've never made it to UT. I used all 3 axles on my truck at separate times during the entire trip It is kind of more like a saga as every couple thousand miles something else broke but what do you expect when you're running a 2000 f250 6X6 they did the hubs on the front end and were able to tell me what was wrong with the re drive line system checked everything to make sure that it would make it out there and it sure did. These two pictures I included are from the last 20 miles of the trip where I had to swap to the mid axle which was my complete emergency spare (lol couldn't run both three axles at the same time because of how loose the spider gear was in the mid) but it actually drove the best out of all three I did 1800 miles on the rear axle 500 mi on just the front axle (Don't ever do that It sounds like death and really you should not go over 50 mph) and then another 20 on the mid these guys helped me understand what I was getting into with this truck as well as point me down the road and help me get there pretty awesome that they had a helping hand in this epic truck's journey.

I've been doing buisiness with these guys for over 3 years now. I've bought my plow and sander from these guys. Both clean and well done installations. Recently had work done transferring my plow frames to my new truck and servicing. Also just had them do 2 new axles for my 2011 20 foot enclosed trailer. Mike and his family get the job done right and stand behind their work. His prices are fair and they get you what you need in a timely manner. I've been to other trailer places in the area and can honestly say, this company is doing it right. Thanks guys! As a local business of 17 years it's nice to find a place that helps keep me going.
