Lovely well marked hike - mostly smooth trail going up...moderately steep uphill...nothing too difficult - I did fine in my running shoes- perfect half daytrip from Denver near the town of Conifer, CO ... clean compost toilets a short walk from the parking lot, trail starts in open area that leads into beautiful forested trail, also a nice covered pavilion with picnic bench where the Sunny Aspen trail meets the Old Ski Run trail... right off hwy 285

Great place to easy trails with the dogs. I typically go mid-week and parking is easy to find and there are not a lot of people. On the weekend it can get crowded. Love this hike in the fall when the aspens are gold, beautiful open fields and lush forest trails!

Great hike through pine and aspens that's beautiful, fun, not too strenuous, and fairly close to town. The total loop up to the top and back is about 4 miles and took us about 2 hours.

It's bikeable, but be prepared for some very narrow paths that are shared with hikers and dogs.
Yes, as long as they are kept on a leash and do not bother/chase the wildlife (birds, etc..)
