My Grandma needed a walk in shower while visiting me. I took her here, worst mistake. She endured a FREEZING cold shower. The hand faucet at the sink had hot water. The shower had nothing resembling warm, no matter what setting. I left to ask for help, no one had an answer or a way of helping. 2 hours of waiting just for 15 minute's of torture. . We deserve a refund. So ridiculous.

I love stopping at Monument Colorado but unless you're here by noon you don't get a parking spot. The showers are clean and the staff is outstanding! The only thing I see is they're allowing homeless people to squat here now too, he has trashed the parking lot from his truck spilling something all over the ground and it makes this truck stop look bad. It's very difficult to find a place to park in Colorado and now this. It also makes me feel uneasy that pilot flying j are allowing homeless people to start living in their parking lots as I am a female truck driver traveling alone.

Hey. My real name's Jim. I got about a little less than a million miles during my stint as a OTR Trucker, Not as much as some, but I do okay. This is all to give you an idea on all the horrible truck stops I've been to and seen, and this Pilot isn't one of them. I stopped in late last night, was trying to get what I need, quick, and get to bed before I travel down to Texas, and was amazed to see one of the cleanest Pilots that I've ever seen in my career. I talked with the fellow there, Tony, but I didn't get a chance to compliment the store, or give him two thumbs up, on it, but you can bet that if I'm ever in this area again, that I'll stop by, and shake his hand. I give two tips of my hat to Tony, and the overnight crew at this Pilot. What an amazing place!

Stopped here for my 10 hour break. The transportation bill that was presented to congress had nothing detailing truckers number 1 problem that there are no safe havens or initiation to create more safe havens for truckers . Walmart has made it more and more difficult to park at their locations and the homelessness problems have started to spill onto our truck stops. This has forced more and more truck stop to start charging for parking spots. In the 10 hours I was here I saw these two campers taking 2 free spots from drivers. So as inventive as we are we make our own spots. Along the highways you will see us parked on the ramps and sometimes you will see us in a ditch somewhere or even calling our companies letting them know we are going to have to violate our log books to get to the nearest safe haven. The east coast is full of truck spots where all of their parking spots are Pay to Park and more and more truck stops are inheriting this initiative to stop the problem of squatting.
