oh my GOD!!!! longggggg story short..i have NEVER in all the 18 years of my childrens lives EVERRRR been found neglectful, abusive, in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM nor have been physical or in any bad way, detrimental to my childrens lives/in my care. Suddenly , since being with their 'father' whom passed them to my older sister and her long time boyfreind, whom ALL 3 of them were PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE, EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY!!!!>>>>traumatized them greatly to where they are noe in psychiatry, therpy medication etc...they dont trust ANYONE ANYMORE and RELIVE THEIR ABUSIVE PAST DAILY AND TRIGGERS ARE CONSTANT AND COME FROM EVERY DIRECTION /CONVERSATION/PLACES WE GO /PASS, ETC THEY WANT TO DIE BECAUSE OF HOW THE SYSTEM ALLOWED THOSE ADULTS TO TREAT THEM THAT WAY. throughout their monthly visits, my children were stiff as a rock sweating perfusley afraid to say what was really going on and DEATHLY AFRAID they might not get their lines right that they were forced to say. ALL THEY WANTED WAS MOMMY and all they got was ABUSED NEGLECTED AND TREATED LIKDE ANIMALS. DCF EVEN FINLLY AT THE END OF IT ALL, CHAFRGED MY SISTYER AND HER BOYFRIEND WITH PHYSICAL ABUSE AND NEGLECT AND PROCEEDED TO ALLOW MY OLDER DAUGHTER AT 14 YEARS OLD TO STAY WITH THESE MONSTERS!!!! people tried so hard to get them to listen but they didnt bat an eye at the suffering these poor babies were holding in. i wish my poor children could hvae spkoen up without being beaten for it. now all of my kids are seprated when thery were and are all eachother had and needs. tell me how one is with the father, one is with my sister and my youngest is with me???? there are so may sick and twisted plays on DCF'S BEHALF. and will they EVER face consequences for tearing 3 siblings/mother apart??? probably NOTTTTT!!!!!! ABSOLUTELYYY DISGUSTING!!!! anyone else have a messed up situation that is unneccessary where DCF ABUSED THEIR POWER????? they dont seem to have a very good listing, so i am willing to bet they have screwed and tortured MANY MANY MANY MANY FAMILIES , UNDESERVING AT THAT! Something must be done. WHERE ARE OUR SPEAKERS??? WHERE IS THR JUSTICE/?? IM TIRED OF BEING AFRAID. there are very obvious signs of abuse and neglect. leave the ones alone who are clearly happy. one last thing...so sad...MY CHILDREN CALL 'DCF' "DESTROYING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES". -T.B. I could write a few graphic novels about my personal dealings with the Leominster, MA DCF office. For your sake, I’ll try to keep this review short and to the point. I’d submitted a written request for my full DCF case file about three years ago. The office requires the request to be in writing, so, I obliged; submitting the document at the Leominster DCF field office. I patiently waited two months and heard nothing from the office or my Worker. Eventually, I was given the direct line to the Secretary who handles the records. Upon speaking with her, she tells me that she’s “never,” yes, “never,” received a written request from me. This is both completely impossible and a bold-faced lie. Oh, and, it’s been about six months since my initial record request. Hah! I reluctantly agree to re-submit my written request and I head back down to this office to do so. I request the document from the Secretary at the desk. She was happily joking with two other staff members while eating Donuts and loudly slurping down an Iced coffee. My presence seemed to upset her and the other employees who quickly scattered off, pretending to do something constructive. I fill in the record request document, being sure to write this was my second submission. I then took out my phone to take a few photos for proof. I snapped two of the Document, one of the door, and one of the cork board that hung directly above me. “You can’t do that!” “Put your phone away RIGHT now!” Shouts the front desk Secretary. I remain polite, but, firm. “I’m just taking these photos to prove that I’m here and that I’ve submitted this request.” I tell her. I walk over to the desk in an attempt to hand-in my record request. “Can I ask you your name, please?” The Secretary glared at me. Her gaze was Ice Cold, like a murderous psychopath in a Psychological thriller. A small smirk started to form at the edge of her lips. “No, you don’t need to know my name.” I was quite shocked by this response. I only wanted to write her first name down for my personal records, as I didn’t want to be accused of not submitting the request again. We both stood there for a second, our eyes locked. Was this lady serious? What kind of reputable organization employs people who lack basic social skills? Was she kidding? I asked this Woman three more times for her name. Each time, she refused to comply. I could see her badge, but, I couldn’t read her name. It was positioned in a way that made it hard for me to see it. Finally, I had enough. I said, “You are a Federal Employee and you work for the Government.” “If someone asks you to display your badge, or requests your name, you must comply.” “Please show me your badge now.” Reluctantly, and with eyes that were now filled with rage, she flipped her badge over. It read, “Denise.” I quickly handed her the form and took my exit. I was completely shocked by the behavior of this employee and DCF’s horrible system. This office needs a complete overhaul of its staff. The federal Government allocated a little over 1 BILLION dollars in funding this year alone to MA DCF. These people work for us!! The private Citizens & their Children! The very LEAST they could do is represent themselves in a kind, professional, and sincere manner. It’s truly disheartening to find out that this organization is nothing but a lie! They do nothing to help keep families together! It’s actually the complete opposite! Our kids equal cash!! Look up the Adoption & Safe Families Act!! MA gets $4-$6k in Fed grants for EACH Child that is SNATCHED from their parent(s) and placed in temporary foster care! Maybe it would help if 70+ percent of the 51B’s ( cases) the office receives didn’t turn into (51-A’s) “substantiated” cases? DCF could concentrate on finding and saving Children who are in serious danger instead of “investigating” the claims of an anonymous caller who clearly has a grudge and one heck of an elaborate story. But, what’s the fun in that, right? I guess I’ll save the rest for that Novel and it’s gonna be a good one! —Seraphina P

Social workers admitting to suicide attempts, placing a plastic bag over her head, should not be handling, criticizing, correcting or involved with other families allegedly incapable of providing safe and appropriate environments for children. I do not trust DCF for anything. They failed me with my 1st son. I will not allow them to fail me or my 2nd son. Make sure you document everything, have copies or every visit and record possible. They say one thing but can do another. They have so much power and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Even if you do the entire case plan, it doesn't matter.
