If you're looking for a day trip to explore and learn this is the place to go. It has great atmosphere and learning environment for people of all ages. Not only does the offer caverns but outside activities as well. The tour was great and guided by knowledgeable people. The cavern itself was a cool experience, worth the time. When you do purchase tickets for the cavern make sure you use one of the discounts that they accept. The cover that stove is that wheelchair accessible and or stroller accessible.

Skip Luray and drive straight to Grand Caverns! You won't regret it! The tour guides (shout out to Corey) are fantastic and the caves themselves spectacular! And it's not an overpriced, over crowded tourist trap

As our first cave tour, you guys set the expectation really high. Our tour guide Michael was knowlegeable, passionate about his work and kind. My daughter was so interested the whole time and he answered every question and had a great sense of humor. So glad we decided to go tour here as it was budget friendly and really enjoyable. Thanks for making our trip from FL so great. We both learned a lot from you guys & I am so glad that this exists place exists to keep history alive!

We had a great experience here! It's been a while since I went through Luray Caverns, but I found this to be more enjoyable and more informative. The tour included a lot of great historical information. Definitely a great experience!

Yes, they have a very nice gift shop with a nice collection of items, especially for those who enjoy rocks. As a mom, I appreciated their selection of "nice" items in the $15-20 range for my children who had saved their money to buy something special. They also have a wide variety of polished rocks and geodes in the under $5 range.
Sort of...the trail to the cavern is but inside the cavern may be difficult
No. However, they do offer certain inside areas for special events, weddings, dances, that do allow food.
Not heated it stay one temperature all the time.. I want 2 day in the 50
Constant 56 degrees. I was just there last weekend.
Harrisonburg or Staunton is where you would probably want to find a place.
Depends on what option you are taking, but around $15
Luray has the organ. Grand has the history of being the oldest show cave.
We are open every Fourth of July unless otherwise stated on our social media pages.

The pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. The last day it is open is always Labor Day Monday.
No age limit. I went with my brother and his family with three kids, two were around 8 years old and his son of a few months old that they carried. Strollers aren't allowed in the cavern. Definitely bring sweaters, for the kids especially. It's around 50 degrees in there
The Grand Caverns has a room called the Rainbow Room. Very pretty!
They will be open December 31, 2017
