After being a member for over 4 years, I have decided to find another gym. Overall, the facilities at Warwick and East Providence are wonderful, however, two specific employees are far from wonderful. The manager and one of the front desk employees I spoke to are both rude and insulting. If you prefer to shower indoors rather than use the outside shower, beware! The pool shower police will assume you have not showered and admonish you. In reality I have seen people spend all of one minute in the outside shower. I don't think that really counts as a shower with soap. Regardless, I am done with Healthtrax. And, I was one of the members that continued to pay even when the Warwick pool closed temporarily when COVID was rampant. So, unless you want a reprimand almost accusing you of not showering better take it outside so the shower police don't come down on you. I should have worn a sign on my back stating..."I SHOWERED INSIDE,"

I've been a member for many year and love it. Great staff who are helpful and friendly. My only complaint which is shared by many is being asked to get out of the pool at 8am when the water aerobics class doesn't start until 8:15am.

Enjoyed my membership for many years and I miss my early morning swims. But I left when it was clear that pre covid hours weren't returning. 8am on weekends is too late of an opening time for me. And for the cost I feel they should stay open longer (especially on Sundays.... 8 to 1). If old hours return... so will I. Good gym if the operating times work for you.

Always clean! Friendly staff! We cannot recommend Brain as a trainer more! He is phenomenal!! I do wish they would bring back the kids room!

Does having aarp Medicare complete plus fitness have a reduced pay?
Hi David, Healthtrax is open normal hours on Columbus Day. You can view the standard hours on www.healthtrax.com.
Yes they offer water aerobics classes. A lot of fun and great trainer
Membership varies. They do have options. Healthtrax does cost more than a budget gym like PF, but you get so much more (pool, hot tub, sauna, indoor basketball, way better services and equipment). Highly worth at least a tour.
For a single members I pay 54/ month plus once a year they charge a fee based on your membership. Its low (I think mine was 30 something). The initial cost (sign up) varies but is also reasonable. I think they even let you do it in installments...but I am not 100 percent on that. They do cost more than other gyms but you get what you pay for (pool, hot tub, sauna, shower/locker room, quality equipment, etc.)
