Solid preaching from the word. Loving and caring people. This church is the real deal! 👍🙂

I feel terrible for giving a church 1 star, but theres a first time for everything. Today I decided to go try this church, I lived here long enough, wasn't working, what could go wrong? Let me tell ya. Probably the best thing I can say for this place is the location, easy to find, inside of the building is this beautiful modern look, absolutely gorgeous. I walked in with the door barely held open for me. People were gathered talking, typical Sunday morning fellowship. I saw sign for the sanctuary and slowly made my way to the doors. Now, as a southern Baptist, I'm a firm believer in good greeting. So when I saw a lady with the greeters tag, I was ready to be greeted. I smiled, and she looked at me as if i has some oddasity to be all up in her church, looked the other way and asked someone she knew how her week was. Whatever. Passed by another gentleman with a greater tag by the doors to the sanctuary, no good mornings, just an awkward stare exchange. Go up the stairs to the sanctuary. Service hasn't started yet, not everyone is seated so I head for the back to avoid sitting in someone elses spot. In this set up, theres the stage, about 20 rows of chairs, a walkway behind those rows, and then about 2 rows for extra seating by the sound booth. So if you sat all the way in the back like I did, someone is bound to see you. I know people saw me, I was dressed in white and pink. But still no greeting. Even when the preacher started, people kept walking everywhere, talking loudly, I could barely hear the soft-spoken man. Who gave a short sermon because they were doing baptisms. As I sat through about 15 of these things, I finally got up and left. It wasn't worth my tome or effort. No one said a word on my way out the door. Needless to say, it was terrible, and I wont be going back.

This is a wonderful church community. We experience great warmth, kindness, and fellowship and always enjoy the excellent preaching at this church. If someone has never been to Renaissance Church before, you will be greeted with genuine kindness and a true sense of caring.

Pastor Scott is not afraid to preach God's word. His fear of the Lord compels him to speak the truth even when the topic can be offensive or uncomfortable. The community is one that strives to live life on a way that would bring honor to Jesus in the way they love each other. I recommend anybody who is selling it have been attending church for many years to come and join.
