Southworth Library

The library is completely open to come inside. The curbside option ended July 30, 2021. You can take materials out, use the public computers, use the meeting rooms again and more.

Yes like Jeannie said and if you want a quiet room where you shut the door, there are two at the new North Branch on Cross Rd in North Dartmouth. Those are available on a walk-in basis and you can use it for an hour or longer if no one else asks to use it.

There is an online library catalog https://www.sailsinc.org for the SAILS network which includes our library and other libraries in the area. To reserve a DVD, you log into your library account with your library card number, PIN (last 4 digits of your phone #) and can limit your search by different formats like DVD or book or audiobook. Then you choose place hold and choose where you want to pick it up. Or you can call us and ask if we have the DVD you want and we put it on hold for you. You get notified once it comes in for you and currently we offer curbside pickup Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm.
