Been here 6 years. Maintenance does not fix anything in a timely manner. Usually takes 8 months and longer to fix anything. No matter how big or small. Had to call housing on them to fix all the broken stuff in here. I don't care how understaffed maintenance is. That is not a problem the residents should have to burden. Can't wait to move out of this place. Negative rating if I could. Edit: What I have described happened years before the pandemic and still happens. Maintenance has been awful since the day I moved in. 6 years ago.

I've lived here for about 10+ years and not only are the apartments really nice but the service and the people that work here have made living here amazing. One person in particular, Mami-lye Kamara is one of the nicest people I've met. She is super helpful and sweet and always makes sure our living experience is going well.

I had a problem in my Apartment i reach out to Kaliroi on a late day around 3 pm she did call me back the same day and make sure the problem was solve the same week . Chatham West its a great place to live and base on my experience KALIROI the manager she is the best . She is really concerned about everything .

First of let me say this , chatham west has preferential Group in term of choosing whom they want to give their availability to. You get a call or an interview real quick unless you are cape verdian. second the lady who always picked up the phone claiming she is the manager is rude very rude, never let you finish your sentence. everytime you call she gives you a different story. Never she is helpfull .My friend had applied to chatham west while she was 7 month pregnant, for a one bedroom. the lady told her since you pregnant apply for two, its the same amount of wait 1-years. when we call to know the wait the lady told her 3-4 years and hang up with no explanation. we did not call back because we better then these rude people. i myself ben calling for over a year now, for a one bedroom, i am still told to call next month first tuesday, the last time i have to wait for another two year, in the meanwhile i know a lot of people who applied AFTER me is already stable in their place at chatham west. i wish these people were more helpful, and encouraging.
