I was treated as a criminal when I needed mental help. The Brockton police department need to train all their officers how to deal with people who haven't committed a crime and is in need of mental care. That's from the shift commanders down. I lost all respect the police after my encounter with them.

I would like to express my gratitude to the Brockton Police Department for helping a friend of mine who is a senior citizen of Brockton. I usually do handiwork for her and today she needed help with her fuse box in the basement. She is wheelchair-bound and I wasn't around to help her at the moment. I gave her the number to the department and they sent someone to turn the lights on for her. They sent someone right away because she uses space heaters and her room was starting to get cold. Thank you.

I would say Heather if someone isn't listening to them or putting them in danger they have EVERY right to protect themselves.
No it would stop Brockton police officers from lieying on their police reports officers like Delious Christopher who put a handcuf in his hand as a brass nockle and he punched a black man at the police station on June 13-2018 than he pulled his gun him and his partner on that day. A body camera would stop officer rayian Quick from lieying when pulled his gun out as soon as he come out of his cruiser like he did to Sylvester on June 14. Bad cops need to be supervised.
UGH.While I have some extreme issues w/the performance of Brockton police,especially since I live on the S.Side, I personally am sick to death of everyone being SO concerned over the well being of criminals...so called excessive force used,etc...but how about the other side, the Police,their safety,while trying to do their jobs & keep us safe ??? How do YOU suggest they should take someone into custody that's possibly armed,extremely violent & absolutely refusing to cooperate,etc ? Everyone screams,yells,blankets social media w/protests if some banger,or just a large,violent,non-compliant offender gets injured when police take them into custody....but no one seems to care how many times the Police officers get injured just trying to do their jobs !!

A police report is both free at scene & usually free afterwards also,if you need a copy of that report for insurance,work,etc. Though some police stations,under today's immense budget restraints,may charge you a nominal copying fee.
