Since the end of 2020 Angell took great care for our Bentley. Unfortunately Bentley passed away his past Saturday after his strong fight against cancer. Bentley was typically extremely nervous when it came to the vet or hospital but loved the great team in Oncology. He was always excited to see Juliana and we can’t say thank you enough to her and that team for helping us have as much time with him as we could. Angell is full of great people and we know they legitimately care about their patients. Thank you so much

I just wanted to thank everyone at Angel animal medical center for the great job, care and carful consideration for my best friend in the world. Over this past weekend they took great care of my pup Maggy. It has been extremely hard for me to see her in pain and discomfort this past week prior to her stay at Angel. Everyone who helped care for her has my gratitude as they carefully chose to monitor her after her surgery to make sure her vitals body temp, kidney function among other things returned to safe levels. she is now home and relaxing and was excited to be here before taking a snooze when she came home tonight. I don’t know what to say for how thankful I am as I was extremely anxiety Ridden prior to the care she was given. Again thank you so much to Leah Richter and the entire team at Angel <3

Staff was very friendly and explained things in a way I could understand. My cat was well cared for while there. What I appreciated most about Angell is they were happy to help in the care for my cat and were so good to him while there

My 10 year old yellow Labrador was seen at Angell last week for 3rd degree heart block. Without pacemaker surgery she was going to die. Her cardiologist was the most professional vet I have ever worked with. She was straight forward with us but very kind. When my dog's condition deteriorated the day after our consult, she offered to do the emergency surgery on her weekend off. She updated us on time when she said she would, every time. I never had to wonder how my girl was doing. In addition to her wonderful surgeon, the entire staff in the cardiology department were amazing. Having the care coordinators text you and offer to send photos etc just makes being away from your pet in their time of need so much easier. I owe the staff at Angell everything! Without them, I wouldn't have my best friend with me still. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you did for us! Special thank you to Dr. Oranges and Lindsey, we will never forget you both! What I appreciated most about Angell is the professionalism combined with true compassion. My dog's doctor was very upfront with us about how serious her condition was but she was also so kind and understanding. She took the time to truly explain everything and when things escalated with my dog's condition, she came in on her weekend off to perform emergency surgery and saved my dog's life. The word "appreciate" doesn't even seem big enough to describe my gratitude and respect for the cardiology team.

It depends on the animal itself. Its different for dogs and cats. Also on size and treatment. The best way to find out costs would be to call and ask or schedule an appointment.
How much to cremate a cat
It depends on the work, but in my experience about $100-200.
yes, affiliated with angels Medical Center in Boston is the mspca. that particular treatment and kindness will always be covered by the mspca. of course, there may be some compromises on setting and final disposition, but the cat will always be treated with kindness and the process will be done properly and humanely
No
I believe it was about 200 dollars
Hello Leah - for information on services, please contact us at (617) 522-7282. Thank you.
Yes they have care credit, have you tried applying together? Also as others said they do have financial assistance for those who qualify. Call them to get started especially since it sounds like time is critical for your kitten. Best of luck.
Get her teeth checked. Her friont teeth may be growing too long and cutting into her.
I'm Sorry Not a Vet. Call your Vet or go to the Emergency Room and go to your Local Vet
This is a public post. You'll need to call the hospital and get a consult for that type of information. Good luck.
So your question is why there aren't more questions?
When I brought my puppies over they tried to work with me to accommodate their prices. Call their financial department, if you qualify they can refund you up to $1,000.00
Curious if there was ever an answer? I have black lab 70lbs and found out tonight he has a torn ACL.
The ASPCA is not affiliated with the MSPCA-Angell. Angell does accept Care Credit and in some cases has limited funds available for financially qualifying seniors. Our financial officers can walk you through options. Please visit https://www.mspca.org/angell_services/payment-policy/.
They should have a record of the procedure you can call or text them contact the hospital give the cat's name and date of surgery they will email you the information
Not sure 1500 is what I paid to have my dog neutered
They don't have a set fee- it depends on the health of the health of the animal. They have board certified surgeons and you have to schedule a consult. It can run from 500-1000 depending.
This is just the page where you rate your experience with them. I think you should call them directly to ask about your cat.
I had my cats tooth pulled it cost for the appointment was about 175 not including medications but that was a few years ago. I would call for a more accurate price.
No, we do not offer a standard discount to senior citizens, but you can contact our Admissions Office for information about financial assistance: https://www.mspca.org/angell_services/payment-policy/

It could be a number of things from a torn muscle to arthritis I would call and schedule an appointment to have your dog looked at.
You have to visit the center. From Tuesday to Friday from 1 to 5 pm .. Saturdays and Sundays too. You have to carry an ID and show where you live. The read or title of the house.
Hello Nancy - Every case is different, but Angell is unique in that we have 2 board-certified veterinary anesthesiologists on staff who are deeply experienced with geriatric or high risk anesthesia cases. Please consult your veterinarian to discuss the individual aspects of your golden retriever’s medical circumstances.

Yes the have dentists for cats. I had to bring my cat in for a extraction and they were able to do it right away.

The shelter animals would love to have them!
The kind of pet (dog/cat? large animal? exotic?) makes a big difference. When I asked a bit over five years ago for my then-puppy, the person at Angell who spoke to me recommended Trupanion.
Hello Frances - Please call 617-522-7282 for pricing information. Thank you!

Consultation fee is $150, and the doctors then discuss any other fees during the visit. They have financial assistance available.
These questions are answered by the who have been to Angell for their pets, not the people who work at Angell.
We are very sorry to hear that you are facing this stage in your cat's life. Yes, you may make an appointment to euthanize your cat, particularly if you have a specific Angell doctor whom you prefer to do this, but an appointment is not necessary as we understand that this is a difficult time and not always conducive to planning. You may come in anytime to our emergency desk (24 hours/7 days per week) for euthanasia services and it will not change the price. Pricing varies slightly depending on the cremation options you select and the weight of your pet. Please call 617-522-7282 for pricing and appointment information.
You should call them to discuss such things.
Go to Merwin Memorial in Allston-Brighton. They only do acute care & triage. No appointments. No frills - and definitely no warmth/patience for humans - but they provide at-cost care.
Pricing should be handled directly with them.
The ER does require a fee, but there is an office in the billing department for owners who cannot afford the bill
Ask for the avian/exotics vet - they have treated my parrots, finches, and one budgie in the past :)
Pricing should be answered by the vet directly.
For costs, call them. They can give you a better answer.
Yes there's a huge parking lot
They do.
Yes. There is a general holistic consultant, as well as some of the specialists.l
There is an upfront fee for energency visits, but the financial assistance/counseling office are incredibly helpful and resourceful - in my experience, pets are taken in to triage immediately regardlessm
You will Pay an initial fee, as With All , Vets. This is usually, $100.00. Then any further attention, your doggie may need will be based on Dr. Hourly rate, medicatin, and THE MOST EXPENSIVE, : 24/7 Care, in a Kennel at the Vets. Good Luck !/ Hope your Doggie is Well
