I was excited that VT has a Target but was very disappointed with the mess and customer service. I shopped in this store on Monday June 27, 2022 and walked out with nothing but a Starbucks coffee. In MD, the two Targets I go to are very well kept and the people working there are friendly and helpful. Target is one of my favorite stores! This Target had clothing on the floor. Shelves and tables in the department store area were messy with what little they had in stock. Workers were chatting it up with each other. You feel like you are bothering them just being there, let alone asking a question. A lot of standing around talking. They also are not wearing red shirts and khaki pants, so they are harder to spot. They wear all shades of red shirts, from orange to burgundy, and jeans. They look like customers who have stopped shopping to talk with each other. Meanwhile, boxes of inventory sit there on handcarts. I did see one lady working in the bra and underwear department. She looked unhappy but was stocking the area. We went to the Llbean store next. It was the exact opposite. Excellent customer service. Clean, organized & tidy store. Workers were helpful and friendly. No clothing on the floor or in piles on tables. Maybe the VT Target should have Llbean train their staff? *I did not visit the grocery. So I can not review that area of this Target.

This Target has so many departments in one, that there usually isn't the the one thing you are looking for. For being Vermont's only Target it's quite disappointing. The dollar bin area is the most upsetting place.

Out of all the Target's I have ever visited ( a lot) they are the worst in terms of supply. This is way before we even knew what Covid 19 was. First, it is small by Target standards strange since it is the only one in the state. It has very limited items for sale like kids clothes and household items. The small amounts they do have are consistently out of stock- again- before Covid. Next, the have grocery items but mostly unhealthy. Last, they have a Starbucks but the line is always very long. They should have gone into the empty Sears space. Maybe they will with the new mall owners, we will see.

Rebecca, one of the store managers was extra helpful with finding what I was looking for. Bought the new Google Home Nest speaker. They ring you up for the "fancy" stuff at a different register. The store was clean, the shelves were well stocked and everyone was super friendly.

They are grand opening October 21st. Soft opening 17th.
Yuengling says they do not distribute anywhere in Vermont. The closest you can get Yuengling products is Plattsburgh Distributing.
No. Targets does not.
An unannounced or lightly announced business opening, instead of or prior to a grand opening. You can come in shop but some features are still in transition and testing.
There are visa gift cards, last I knew vanilla re loadable cash cards weren't legal in vermont.
Service animals only.
