John is very knowledgeable and fair. Unlike his competitor in the Blue Mall who tried to charge a fee for each of my gold coins (Each!), John purchases the gold "spot-on" at the value the gold is worth while I'm meeting with him. I don't know if it's because I brought high quality gold, but he's been fair every time we've worked together. He also enjoys talking baseball and was quite a good player in his day.

Hi Samantha, we buy 90% silver by the face value just like most of the dealers do if someone’s trying to buy it by the ounce you’re probably not getting a good price. Depending on the size of the sack of half dollars you have we pay anywhere between $17.50 and $18.00 times the face value. Based on spot being 26.82 spot now. So if you had $100 worth of face value silver that would equal $1800. We pay the best price in the area if a dealer throws your coins on a scale run. Thanks John

Hi Rick, This sounds like a good for token . I did some research and at one time the Burlington daily news cost was 5c. Was probably used 1910-1920. I could not find one for sale but I would say that it could bring 50.00 to 100.00 dollars it’s really worth what someone is willing to pay. Nice find!
