I hear good things about Pembroke Animal Hospital I they may become my new vet as I'm unimpressed by my current one if seems they are not concerned with anything but money not pets.

Pembroke Animal Hospital, Pembroke, New Hampshire is a sad excuse for a Veterinary Clinic. We had brought our German Shepard there for seven years and what a huge mistake. Each time we brought her there, due to illness, we got brushed off but charged large amounts of money with no answers. I finally smartened up and took her to another Vet who, in five minutes time, told me more of what was really going on with our Shepard than I got in seven years at PAH. We decided to put her down due to the results of an ultrasound and an x-ray. If you are smart and love your pet, DO NOT take them to this place. Absolutely terrible! If there was a minus star to give this place, I would certainly do that! Don’t bother trying to reach out! You Should of done your job! Now our dear pet is gone!

I brought my 11 month old puppy to get spayed. The receptionist is very nice. The vet tech was very sweet to Justine and more importantly efficient and skilled. The checkout person seems very abrupt to me. On the whole they dont seem very approachable or comppassionate. When one of their customers called they were told to go to caves emergency and then made a disgusted noise when hanging up. Justine was in a lot of pain and traumatized by the procedure and i was repeatably told she was just being sensitive.

I have taken my pets here for years. The staff is friendly and caring. Dr. Julian is incredible we had to put my dog down and they made it as easy as possible during a pandemic they took care of everything and made sure to respect our wishes . Dr. lauren is also a great vet. the technicians are awesome and well trained.

If your friend is on a tight budget they can apply for spay assistance thru the state and then it will only cost $25.
Im pretty sure they do ... As far as i know they take care of most pets and i know they take care of farm animals because i bring my chickens there
