It was expensive especially since the water slides are not operational. You had to pay for a Intertube and a life vest for a kid. You aren't allowed to bring in a cooler they make you buy the food they have there which is way over priced. $3 for a tiny piece of pizza.

I have been coming to this pool on and off for the past 15-16 years, and it’s always been a staple in Summers in Hurricane/Teays Valley. Came today for the first time in probably 10 years and it was a blast! Missing those slides, but it’s probably for the better they’re closed. A BIG request and recommendation is MUSIC. One thing i loved about this place was the radio. Made pool checks and quieter moments at the pool much more enjoyable. I know y’all got loudspeakers back there :p Otherwise a great experience.

I am posting this just as update. My family comes to this pool every season. We just visited the trails surrounding the park last week. The trails and walking area is nice. There is also a nice playground and bakery/Cafe close on grounds outside of the wave pool area. The pool is just a wave pool though. The slides are shut down unless they are planning some quick work to have them back up and running. As of last week, there was no work happening that I could see. The wave pool is nice and has had renovation in the last few years but no slides open right now.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. There has been a lot of changes here especially since the remodel. The slides are down and barricaded off and from the looks of them it’s a good thing. Just nasty looking and needs some serious …
