No one wants to help. Been trying to get someone from my “ personal health team” for days. No call backs , much less get someone on the phone. Why is there no accountability, why does no one care? Is anyone listening

No one answers the phone. I have had a run around for 2 months trying to get a simple emg. No one cares no wonder people have PTSD and they have a suicide line.

This place literally doesn't care if you live or die. I've been trying to help my husband get care at this facility for years. He's at the point now where his bones are necrotic, he has probably irreparable GI issues, has had appointments for both of those issues MANY times in office - and they STILL do not give him real care. He suffers in pain daily and gets zero help. They send him to Lake Nona for any help he needs. 1.5 hours away. How do they think that's realistic? Well, I called around today and found out he can be seen by specialists within 5 miles as long as he gets an authorization code from a case manager because of the Veteran Community Care Act that was passed. I haven't met a provider we don't hate here. They do what is best for their bank account, not for patients. Not even if your bones are necrotic and you're bleeding from insides out. Please call specialists in your area to ask if they accept the VA Community Care Coverage. If so, this VA can send them an authorization code and you can be seen elsewhere. They just don't want to. But THEY CAN. Get a patient advocate. I'm my husband's. Good luck.

THEY NEVER RETURN CALLS. Big joke. Trying to get a covid test and told I need my Dr to submit request. Called every 3 days for TWO WEEKS. They DO NOT return calls !!! And THIS is why the VA has such a bad reputation.

The laboratory is open Monday - Friday from 0730-1430
No, you do not. As long as your provider has placed an order for labs in for you.
Yes
No
You can go to the clinic and enroll.
Call to the VA and tell them who you need the appointment with and will set you.
Just testing to my knowledge. The VA in Orlando is but with certain criteria to receive vaccine. Such as heart problems, chemo patience ect.
Yes
Go to clinic and be examined and you will get a primary doctor....
Would like to do it today, Dec. 5. Shall I call first?
I would call the clinic and request a new doctor be assigned, I am sure they will accommodate.
Nope u need an appointment. As long as u are a veteran you can be seen. They'll take a walk in if its that serious, but appointments are what they accept
You have to fill out a form thay can help you at the clinic
Call vs Tavares and make sure u r in the system. They can also give u a number to call to make appts or they can schedule u for appt
