The only reason I’m giving them one star because zero stars is not available. I have been buying my bait and beer at the shop on the end of this property for years. There is a sweet family that runs the shop and I will miss that for sure. Today I had my brother drive the boat to the marina while I drove my 75-year-old dad who has Ménière’s disease To meet us there so we could fish for a couple hours and spare him the boat ride to our fishing spots Nearby. The owner was so shrewd he would not allow us to park at the marina, When we explained to him my fathers situation he told us it was not his problem. When we explained to him we have been spending money on that property for bait and beer for years, he said that was not his shop and they only lease the property from him and that you could only park if you rented a boat slip- When we explained we had done this once before it had never been a problem and we were only going to be out for a couple of hours, he Used the analogy of adultery and just not getting caught. Small businesses take on the personality of their ownership, I would be where to keep my boat somewhere like this.

After a year and a half of very good service, in 2020 our stalled boat sat on the property for 4 months. The mechanics work alone, so it couldn’t have been due to COVID closure. Not once was I contacted to approve work needed. The key switch was replaced, but the mechanic took 20+ hours to find the problem and we were charged for 6 hours. (Such a deal for a key switch.) Apparently there were complications since our boat’s old (10 yrs). After paying, I headed out and discovered the tip wasn’t working at all. It was working when I dropped it off. Left it another 3-4 weeks and the mildew buildup on the seating was so bad, we asked them to clean it, which they did (⭐️ ⭐️ 2 stars for that). Blenker thought we were just another ungrateful customer, but his longtime office manager quit the next day. 🛎 🛎 🛎

Five o clock Charlie's boat tours are great. Captain John Blenker is very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him for chartered fishing or excursions
