I've had a great experience with Pelkey's in both ordering through them as well as getting instruction from the owner, John Fleury. I'm a recurve archer, and John has been providing 1-1 instruction for quite some time. He has the patience of a saint, but the experience of an olympian. John knows archery like few do, having competed in world championships and is close friends with Olympic coaches and other olympians. He is as close to archery royalty as you can get. But he is down to earth, exacting, but patient in his instruction. He also has some great people working for him, such as Josh who has John's customer service mind-set. Give John and Pelkey's your business, you will never be disappointed.

Haven’t had a bow in 15+ years. Recently bought a recurve to start shooting for fun. Great customer service and very friendly people. Ended up buying a 3 pack of lessons and they’ve been awesome instructors. Would recommend them to anyone. The indoor range is a great winter option. Go have some fun!

Last year my 5yo grandson decided he wanted to try archery. We drove up from Shoreham because we are crazy supportive grandparents. The private lesson was just the right amount of time for his age. The respect for safe handling the instructor emphasized made me feel this was good decision and responsible as as a grandparent. And he absolutely loved it and good at it! We are going back next week and hopeful we can convince parents that we can buy him his first archery set,

Customer service is the best! They spend the time to get you what you need & don't ever make you feel like you don't know a thing which was our case when we first walked in the store. The JOAD program is amazing & everyone is above "great" at the shop! So happy we found them by total accident! :)
