It breaks my heart to have to write this review about the place where I met my husband and had both of my children blessed. If you are a parent of an autistic child RUN don’t walk… RUN. The RE director looks at my child like garbage and speaks to him without a shred of kindness. I have seen her daughter taunting another autistic girl whenever she had the chance with another boy at the church. I tried to ask her to do an art project with me so I could slowly talk about it but she said no. Then I tried asking for a meeting. She refused the meeting and told me to go to another church and refused to correct her daughter in any way. You child is not a curse and autism is a blessing. I refused to meet with Rev. Ben after he told me was coming to my house without asking permission. I did not feel in consent about that situation after that point and did not want to meet with a strange man who thought he could just come over to my house whenever he pleased. I had just met him (as he is the new minister) and had never invited him over before. The RE director never changed her mind about meeting with me... he would have been forcing her to go, which would have been a horrible meeting to attend so I declined. I will come back to our home church after a change of staff.

I joined this church about 1 1/2 years ago. It is a welcoming, accepting church with wonderful staff members and a great new minister. The members are focused on social justice, equity and helping others.

The UUSP is my spiritual home, it is an all inclusive congregation, accepting people from all races, cultures, genders and disabilities. There are no judgements made here at UUSP. Please come and visit us, you are always welcome

I feel so blessed to be part of the staff at UU St Pete. What a wonderful community of caring people! With our amazing RE Director, UU St Pete is great place for kids to be taught. Yes it is. I've been to this church before. Very welcoming of people from any religion or no religion
There is a food pantry at trinity Lutheran church on the far side of mirror lake. Food Pantry's don't double efforts in the same area
