If you are hurting, if you are struggling, if you need help, if you need a friend, if you need anything, then I beg you to *avoid* Lakeside Community Chapel. They will not help you. Please find another church. My father was a tithe paying member of Lakeside for 25 years. He was a deacon for a long period of time (I couldn’t tell you precisely how long). He fell into a persistent sinful habit that materially damaged himself as well as my mother. When this was all revealed, I asked the leadership at Lakeside to encourage my father to take steps to protect my innocent mother harmed by his actions. They refused. But they did remove him from the diaconate almost immediately. This is crass self-interest. I highly doubt Jesus Christ would have behaved this way. If my dad went to five to seven sessions of “counselling” then they *might* recommend my father take actions to protect my innocent mother. No promises. The "counselling" provided by Lakeside is destructive and ungodly. They claim it to be Biblical. But it is run by a realtor with zero state-recognized certifications and zero degrees in psychology/psychiatry/social work/cognitive science/medicine/anything relevant. He is just a dude who loves Jay E Adams with an MBA from USF. I had a session with the realtor who deceptively calls himself a counselor many, many years ago when I was contemplating suicide as a teenager. I didn’t know this man but my father spoke very highly of him. The first thing he wanted to do was to record our session. I refused. I didn’t know him. But he grilled me for approximately 15 minutes about why I didn’t want to be recorded and why it would make me uncomfortable. Eventually, the realtor confessed that he couldn’t get enough points for the next level of pseudo-science if he didn’t record me and review it with his upstream manager. He may or may not have used the term points or upstream manager but the message is ingrained my mind. This is an ungodly and selfish way to begin a counselling session with a teenager. I repeat for effect. If you are hurting, if you are struggling, if you need help, if you need a friend, if you need anything, then I beg you to *avoid* Lakeside Community Chapel. They will not help you. Please find another church.

Pastor Steve delivers very good expository, Bible based, verse by verse preaching sermons every Sunday. It's a fresh breath of air in comparison to other churches who only delivers sermons whose agenda is to tickle people's ears. I strongly advice you to check out Lakeside if you are seeking and longing to hear God's Word preach as what it says and not take it out of context. You will learn about the Bible in it's entirety from Genesis through Revelation.

Our neighbor Jason Bruns is a Pastor at Lakeside. He is not only a wonderful, compassionate, loving neighbor, but he is also a strong and very knowledgeable pastor. He spoke last night and I was blown away by his sermon. Highly recommend Lakeside Community Chapel. Very warm and loving place.

Grace Harman

Great Place, wonderful church that teaches the ays of the bible and the truth found in God, no fallacies or false teachings are found there. They have classes of different subjects that are on a 15 week cycle at the school behind the church and then there is a service in the church itself that is taught by the pastor or occasionally by a guest speaker. Overall it teaches you how to live your life as a Christian without any changes made to the Bible and always offers help to those who are struggling in faith or financially (if member).
