I would like to know how a manager can shut down a corporate store at 6 pm instead of the normal closing time of 10pm.. almost daily within the last few weeks and why a district manager hasn't stepped in to make sure the store is operating it's normal hours ..not only is this store losing 4 hours of sales when closed but the employees that are there to work are cut 4 hours of an 8 hour shift they are hired to do ..how is this allowed.this store in Beekmantown has really gone down hill with the management ..something has to change..many people have been in there to work don't last very long ..this shows that the management is not doing their job and they need to be replaced with someone who is willing to the work of an actual manager and not someone who doesn't want to work ..Good employees are pushed out by bad management which seems to be the case at this store over the last several months!!!

Chazy dollar General is one of best been to.never alot of people there.an shelves always stocked.an if any empty .the employees are always working.jenna is always working an she treats us real nice when we go there.if we can't find something they take us to where it is.they don't just point.they go extra mile

I have to give it a 3-star rating just because of the price. Everything is so inexpensive. We just got a dollar store down the road from my house about a year ago. Before that we always had to go to the convenience store, next door, which was way overpriced compared to Dollar General. I don't like that the store is always in disarray but I assume they keep their prices low because they only have couple employees working at one time . therefore, not the manpower to keep the store in shape. I try not to buy bread or rolls they are because they are kind of stale, but in a pinch they will do.

I shop Dollar General often. Today they had empty spots on the shelves. What i'm told is they have merchandise in the back to be brought out. while there three girls were stockibg the cigarettes. Even if training it doesn't take three people. One lady complained. But it wasn't like the line was down the aisle.
