Small but cool. The old carousel pavilion is really unique. Though right along rt233, it's still a great place to picnic.

Coolest picnic pavilion. More on the scale of a city pocket park, there's not much here. However it is the first Pennsylvania state pa park. There's a snowmobiling trail for a winter activity.

Questions & Answers

We stopped at this State Park with a CMA group and LOVED it. Love the pavilion, flower gardens, creek, bridge, all of it... But we weren't sure if the cement construction in the creek is a spring cooler or what? Please clarify so I can share

There used to be a lot of milling in the area. May be part of a mill damn. Penn State nearby has a lot of remnants from old buildings.
