Lost my appointment. Asked me to wait 3 hours to be seen. Unbelievable.

Terrible place, sad it is run so incredibly inefficiently!! There are 13 windows that I can see, and 4 of them open, workers are laughing and socializing, none of the workers seem eager to do their job or improve this place at all. Why can I see workers laughing and socializing in a back office while we’re waiting for hours! Maybe entice your employees to preform faster, with more effort to get through people faster and not socialize. Laziness from government employees is just sad, there are many other people who needs jobs and could take their place. Seems to be a culture of laziness and slow work at this government tax payer funded establishment that should be serving citizens of Lee county better. Manager should be fired, employees need to be motivated to work harder.

I love that Government ran operations have no sense of being on time and their employees get paid to do virtually nothing and still can’t get it done ! Tax collection as a whole is corrupt ! I paid money ONLINE for my card that said it would be here in 7-10 business days , has been almost a month and I get , “well they’re behind 2-3 weeks” “if you go into the DMV they will charge you again” how can you be behind when they print out cards in the dmv in 30 seconds . A PURE JOKE is how the government runs their employees , it’s absolutely sickening . I have deadlines to meet on my new home exemption and I ordered it well ahead of time and the best part is , you call the number and the person can’t even set up an appointment !! What are they good for then? To answer the phone and be as useless as possible ? I need a job like that. Let me know if you need another employee to sit around and absorb checks !

Call them for anything and you will immediately understand this one star review.. absolutely infuriating trying to deal with them or their phone system.. make sure you have a couple hours to waste trying to get something done. The only thing they can do in a timely manner is send you a notice for fees.

Lost my driver's license can I get a replacement by coming to the office? and what. documents will I need.
They take walk ins but you have to plan to spend quite some time over there. Appointment is highly recommended.
Thanks for the kind words. We are very happy to have helped you!
Hi Nancy. There are a couple of different ways to apply for a Disabled Parking Permit. You can make an appointment at one of our service centers or try for same day service. If you do same day there will be a wait as we prioritize customers with appointments. You can also fill out an application and drop it off at a service center, or mail it to: PO Box 1590 Fort Myers, FL 33902-1590. You must have a valid Florida driver license or identification card and an accurately completed application (https://www.flhsmv.gov/pdf/forms/83039.pdf) signed and dated by a physician/certifying practitioner within the last 12 months. We hope this helps!
Hi Erica! If you are new to the state of Florida you will have to come into one of our offices for an ID card. If you trying to renew a Florida ID online, you may be able to through the FLHSMV. Here is the web address: https://mydmvportal.flhsmv.gov/Home/en/Account/Landing (You will probably have to paste it into a browser.) We hope this helps!
Yes, go to leetc.com choose appointment, and click for the reason, and then choose where you want to go.
The Lehigh Acres office did for several years and about three weeks ago I got mine. However, I overheard someone saying that they were going to stop this service. I recommend calling first because they may have stopped. It sounded as if they were going to Etag and I think this may be at all locations.
I think you can
And
It is normally open
Making appointment to register a vehicle under our name
No. Business at the Lee County Tax Collectors office is by appointment only.
If you have to call for an appointment
Try to go as early as you can. The wait time gets longer as the day goes on.
