Life with Jamey
Very clean and a great play to bring your family including dogs. Some days the splash pad is filled with families and kids having fun and sometimes there are people having BBQ. There is also a volleyball, soccer and basketball area. The dog park is separated for big dogs and smaller dogs and its hardly ever busy so great to bring your pet for a park day.

We went to check this park out since they allow dogs and have a fenced in area. The dog area is toward the back right from the parking that is in front of the splash pad. They have two dog sections fenced off and separated from each other. Both had hoses and pools for the dogs. Not sure if those items are there all the time since this was our first visit. We plan to head back another time and bring our yellow nugget of lab with us. Ps the rest rooms are near the splash pad and we're clean.

Fun park for the kiddos and pets, specially during the summer - the splash pad is so refreshing the kids love it. There are also pavilions available for events. Enough space to play sports, take your dog on a walk or cool off at the splash pad with the children - options are endless.

This is a park of 42+ acres, massive without a doubt that has almost everything for everyone. Paved trails for quick runs, soft Long Horn trails for ones that want to take it easy on their knees, a basketball court, volleyball court, baseball pitch. splash pad and kiddies play area, Dog park ( Split into 2, above 30 pounds and below! That's something!! ). There's also a rest room. If one does all the trails, it's close to 3 miles (Sandy Longhorn Loop is about 0.7 miles).Plenty of bicycle and car parking. Scope for Improvement Hope the soda dispenser is removed and instead an option provided for clean and filtered water (and healthy food alternatives too). People should be encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles and also help kids stay away from junk food.

I don't think so, there are a number of signs posted at the waters edge: "Protected wetlands buffer - no one beyond this point"
The court are nearby the splash pad.
Yes it is
Yea, parking is free
Yes
I think it was already open when we went last week.
Based on my many trips to the park, the splash area isn't for dogs, and the park has a leash policy outside of the dog park area. However, there is a little pool inside the dog park area. I don't know anything about other parks.
I don't think there is a pool.
Thanks i did.just because the park os open doesnt mean the splash pad is but i appreciate all your help
Actually, i walked all around looking for some tennis court but didn't see any, just Basketball, soccer, seems to be hosting a baseball little league but no tennis that i know.
Yes, people can throw a party at the park. You need to make a reservation first though.
You probably could but there's not many areas where you would have space to do so. It's mostly sidewalks where people walk so you would be bumping into others a lot. There are no dedicated skateboard areas.
It's open until 7pm and it reaches capacity, (62) very quickly so come early!!!!!!!
Dog slash area? Dogs aren't allowed unless I don't quite understand the question
No, it's a public park, the water area is only $ 1.00 per person
They only suspend the service when there is a storm alert.
It is a public park for the community I believe it should be. Hope this helps.
Not as far as I know! But it's a great location with multiple sports courts
The office closes @6. The park @ 8.
Yes is open!
no
I don't believe there is WiFi there.
At the kiosk there are grills available
Yes. Have some cash tho. It cost something like 3 or 2 dollars.
not yet enabled for use
There are days that do not open if it is cold. But from 10 or 11am until 4 or 5pm
I guess no as i have seen alert signs of alligators and snake near lake shore
Yes it does.. It has several bbq grills and pavilions. Might have to reserve them though.
$1.00 per person. I believe it opens between 8:00 am and 9:00 am
Yes
Yes, contact the park, the website is great for this process.
Splash pad is 10 to 2 and 3 to 7. There are two different 'sessions' and it's a $1 a person (adults too) for each. The rest of the park is open at 9. Fyi, the entrance fee is cash only, and they DO NOT take $20 bills.
No there is not
Don't believe so. Never been to a dog park with age restrictions.
I think he's going to enjoy a lot the park! The splash zone it's very good for everyone!
I haven't seen people fishing in the park. Water access is not too easy due to bushes. People on boats in the lake do most probably but I don't know the laws that may apply.
No
I believe the Splash pad is free. Sorry I have no idea how much the pavillion rental is. The premises are immaculate and the scenery is beautiful.
Yes it's completely free, you only pay if you're going to use the splash zone on weekends and only pay 1$, if you want to make a barbeque you have to pay 50$ for small one or 75$ for the big one
It's free during weekdays, and $ 1 on weekends and holidays
Yes, you have to rent it. It has an average cost of $ 50
You may have to call the park for that one. I've never seen it.
In the same park there is an office where you can make the reservation and pay.
Not sure but I can say that the office was open last Sunday when we were there. Could drop by if you have time
