Our experience with Max’s Ark has been nothing short of amazing. They LOVE the pups they save and will not just pass them off to someone because you send a nice email. They will make sure it’s the right fit for you, your family and most importantly the dog you are hoping to give forever home to. We were fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to do that a little over 3 years ago and couldn’t imagine our life without her. She is the perfect match to our family and we are forever grateful to Max’s Ark.

I have such respect for Dolly and this organization. So much work goes into rescuing these dogs. From organizing transportation for the animals, finding foster homes, taking care of medical needs as well as neutering/spaying the dogs before adoption. It is a definite “labor of love”. We are so happy to have adopted our girl, Daisy from Max’s Ark a few years ago.

Max’s Ark is an amazing rescue that goes above and beyond to make sure that not only dogs are taken out of terrible situations but also placed in their perfect forever homes. I have fostered before for Max’s Ark and I can attest that Dolly works hard to rehabilitate some very hard cases that go on to live amazing lives. I’m grateful for rescues like Max’s Ark who have saved countless lives.

Max’s Ark is an amazing rescue They help a lot of dogs. They work hard to find the right home for each dog. I have done some volunteering for this organization since January 2021 and have adopted 3 dogs from them. They made sure we were the best family for our dogs. I’ve seen complaints from people who were not given a dog and frankly after reading their angry complaints it makes me glad the dogs were not placed in their home. I’m also very sad because the complaints make it hard for other dogs from this caring hardworking volunteer organization. If you don’t mind being checked out to make sure you’re a good fit for a particular dog and are gracious when you are not. Please support this organization.

They have a Facebook page. It is a small rescue run by volunteers. They are so amazing! Dolly is the head of it. If you ask for her on their Facebook page, she will contact you.
We just lost our cat after 17 years. I have always had a pet and feel devestated by her absence. I haven't owned a dog for over 50 yrs and have my heart set on a very small dog that I can take everywhere. We are retired and live alone except for two visits a year with my grandchildren. The youngest is 11 and they come two at a time so there will never be a crowd of youngsters around. I love my pets like family and treat them that way. My cats have lived up to 20 yrs so I am very responsible and caring. My husband does not want a big dog and is hoping for one that may be hyperallergenic. Please let me know if you have any that fit our needs. 'Thank you for your attention to this request. Donna Pontillo (we live right down Immocolee so distance is perfect)
