Great place to get wic and also other help like fuel assistance.
River Journey
Counseling, Assistance Hub (such as providing people to prepare and file taxes) for materials necessary for survival (such as a Food bank resources) and living (such as Heating fuel and Electricity discounts), Wellness program that takes a moderated Wholistic approach. Seems mostly directed toward those at the lower rungs of the 99%'rs. Nice people, friendly atmosphere, regular business hours.

get ready to be treated as a dog. don't ask for public assistance unless you want to be humiliated and accused of lying etc. staff alternates between being sympathetic and understanding and being condescending and accusatory.

They offer a parrenting group but dont allow couples or men/fathers to join, very sexist program imho.

If they can't, CA should be able to direct you to where you can apply. If you need help filling out the form, I think they may be able to help with that. I recommend that you give CA a call. Good luck!
The fax number for our RSVP of the Pioneer Valley program is (413) 582-7039.
If you received fuel assistance last year, all that is expected this year is that you fill out the required paperwork that was mailed to you and return it as soon as possible. As far as I know, you only need an appointment if you are new to fuel assistance. You may also need an appointment if you have moved. Give Community Action a call if you are uncertain.
MS. Dobbins, You'd have to ask them.
