Very poor experience. Bad communication with players and parents on and off the field. Many things that the coaching and management staff told us were proved to be outright lies, by the end of the season. For instance, players/parents that never update their availability for games/tournaments were not supposed to be allowed to play. However, our son was routinely brushed to the side for a more preferred player who may or may not be available. If that person was unavailable, we would receive a call requesting our son as a replacement. To be clear, a more preferred player is just the coach’s favorite or someone he may have a better relationship with off-field (through their parents). Our son’s play was fantastic all year and he was voted player of the year by the other boys. However, he has never been a favorite of the coach. Other parents and players have always questioned why he is routinely passed over, but we do not have any answers either. We wrote letters and made phone calls, to no avail. We did an experiment and tried out for 4 teams this season. Our son made an A and a B team so far, but this team decided that they will put him on a C team if space permits. I wouldn’t have written this review, had we not just received yet another slap in the face. Thankfully, our experiment worked. We’ve signed with another club and cannot wait to put this expensive and awful experience behind us.
