Highly knowledgeable and compassionate staff. Our Bernese has seen both Dr. Brooks and Dr. Thornton and we have loved them both. They always provide such thorough care and follow up. I would absolutely recommend Caring Hands to care for your pet!

My cat Ianto recently had surgery to remove a (not-so-small) growth on his shoulder. He's a little over 10 years old so I was nervous about having him undergo anesthesia. Dr. Brooks patiently answered my numerous questions during one of his regular appointments, as did the front desk and vet technicians in the weeks leading up to the surgery. Dr. Thornton and the operating team did an amazing job with his surgery - his growth was successfully removed, and he has recovered quickly and with far less discomfort than I had expected. He is back to his old self, with more energy and playfulness than I've seen in a long time. Thank you to everyone at Caring Hands!

This practice provided provided good care for my dog's annual checkups. However, when I needed a sick appointment, the earliest appointment was two weeks later. I could wait a few days, but not two weeks. This happened on multiple occasions. For this reason alone, I will be using a different practice with my next dog.

My kitten got neutered by Caring Hands in Arlington. She's just a baby, but she was so well taken care of that she didn't even have much pain after her surgery. The techs were great and even the doctor was great (I am terrible with names but I think it was Dr. Thornton) and they all called and updated me as the day went on. I am truly appreciative of the work they did and the way they handled my baby. If you are looking for a great vet or a great place to get your babies spayed/neutered- this is the one! :0]

As long as the veterinarian is licensed, your pet insurance company should accept the claim. Bring your claim form with you when you come in with your pet and the staff will help you fill it out. Some insurance companies have you pay the entire vet bill up front, submit your claim and they then pay you what they authorize.
