I have always had excellent customer service at the Murdock Circle DMV location. All the people that have helped me were efficient and super helpful.

I live 2 blocks from country line. In previous years this was ok but this year the DMV states that I just conduct all county business in the county I live. That means I have to go to Venice, a 30 minute ride when I walk to the office near me. What's happened to the world?

I went to this DMV in Port Charlotte. It was the Friday after Veterans Day. They were backed up about 1 hour. The woman at the front desk was being very honest and even apologized for the long wait. I got to see a young lady by the name Leigh. First thing she said was Good Afternoon and I’m sorry for your long wait. She then are registered my boat, boat trailer, and a cargo trailer. This took about 25 minutes. She was polite and professional at all times. She even showed interest in my living in Florida. She also was smiling and helping a coworker who was having a bad day. The staff are always polite and helpful. If you are missing a document, they tell you exactly what you need. The building is always clean. Masks are requested, but not required.

What do I need to bring to change from Texas to Fla?
2 forms of ID. Your social security number and birtch certificate
Always always bring a current water or electric bill a state ID or license if not two forms of ID birth certificate and your Social Security state government ID card you're up 2 date or recent registration and for the tag you may need to turn in your old tag so bring that with you just in case with all those things there's nothing you can't get done at the DMV unless it's other things like tickets you would need to bring specific paperwork for that matter or any other matter you desire at the time
If you already have your birth certificate in the system. I just walked in and was done in 5 minutes. They are awesome at that dmv. Bring a piece of mail like a bill for electric. I don't work there. I was the first person to take a photo and put them on Google maps. I got over 59,999 views. I am disabled and I am actually begging online for money for my son to pay for college and housing. Your doctor may have one. Our doctor completed one for my husband to get a hanging plaque for whatever car he rides in since he can no longer drive and needs a transport chair or walker. BTW neither of us drives so we don't need a tag for a car.
You can renew online but they will send the plates to your home of record.

I think you should call as you are in Sarasota Coy. I am sure they can help you with an I.D. Fees can very from County to County.
Go to the corners of 41 and Murdock Circle to the DMV. If you don't feel well stay home. They check temp at door. And make sure you have a mask, title and a valid license
I do too, and they told me I could only renew 10 days before deadline. I was almost a month early, they said mail it or go to Sarasota county.??? I mailed it! I tried online, it didn't work either!?!?

Their always busy in the county even though their really not. You're best bet is do as I do and talk to the county utility workers who put in our pipes

Any DMV in the state. You can retake the test in a different county in the same day but not twice at the same one.
Go to ur local dmv, MD if you are in a bind u can go to ur local dmv website and make a copy until ur replacement
You can turn that tag back in but they only credit your account they do not issue refunds
