You will not find a friendlier or more accommodating place in all of Polk County. This library staff goes above and beyond all expectations to service their community. I love walking in their doors and appreciate all the programming they do to serve their community. They are also the longest running local artist gallery in Lake Wales. I truly do love my Lake Wales Library!

This is a great resource for our community. Any information resource needed is available in person and lots of online stuff. I like the ability to check out books online. I like Book Club at the Library and various other programs.

I bring my son to this library. They have a great selection of books for everyone. The librarians are incredible. They are so kind, patient, helpful, and friendly. Just all around a good place. My son enjoys his visits and I enjoy bringing him. Thank you, LWPL.

I LOVE this library! I don't get to visit Lake Wales as much as I would like to, but when I get the chance I always stop by the Library. I can always find used books in great condition for next to nothing. I also love to browse through the collection of very old magazines. This is the only Library that I know of that has such a collection. And the staff has always been kind, friendly and ready to assist whenever needed. Patty in Bartow, FL

For the month of June 2018, Yoga is being offered on the 25th and 27th. It cost money to partake in this event. Cost not specified on calendar.

You only need to proof your residency at Polk County with two mails showing the adddress of where you live. I do not know whether they send faxes. You might want to walk in and ask.
Both Operating Systems Apps are available as a free download...known as PCLC App; abbrv. for POLK COUNTY LIBRARY COOPERATIVE, which is ALL Polk County Libraries in Polk Co. These libraries & all their resources are available to you if you are Library Cardholder at any one county library. So your CATALOG SEARCHES for items automatically includes & specifies where your item(s) are & how many copies are available now or when it is going to be available for you. These can be requested by you now for items return. This app also includes a service called Inter-State Search (approx.name) which is ALL of Floridas County Libraries; (request assistance in seeking your items). Hoping this info provides assistance...

The Lake Wales Public Library is opened Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. They're open Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. They're opened on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
