They serve over 1,000 meals in a day at times of the busier times of the year. I've volunteered here and the staff are wonderful to work with. If you have a voucher from the Department of Children and Families, you can get a voucher from them to go here and pick up groceries. Last they have meals on wheels and mobile food pantries that drive various routes throughout the county to distribute food to those in need.

Great organization!!!! Please donate whatever you can!!!! Nice CLEAN Cafe NOT bug infested like another person on here stated! Great food! Has help with shelter housing n food pantry. A real blessing they are!!!! Please leave them in your Will. Thank you Publix for donating the bread n pastries. My favorite place for food shopping!

I volunteered as a server for the soup kitchen at Community Cooperative. If you're interested in a volunteer opportunity, this would be a great place to get involved. Our group prepped food to serve those in need. Additionally, we helped the kitchen staff prepare food for Meals on Wheels and for lunches going to disadvantaged schools. Everything we made and gave away was extremely fresh and tasty! In addition to serving the hot food, the kitchen staff gave away milk, bread, and pastries from Publix. The picture shows all of the bread made available to those in need.

The Cafe serves food Mon to Fri 10:30-12:30, Saturday 9:30-11:30. The food pantry is open Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri. Must arrive 8:30 to 11 to get food voucher.
The panty for food is 9 to 12. Mon. Tues. Thur. Fri. You must start signing up at 8:30.

There is no Pine Island Parkway in North Fort Myers. However, there is Pine Island Road, in North Fort Myers. The NFM Rec. Center has showers, but not free. At Fort Myers Beach, The Chapel By The Sea does offer free meals, showers, clothes and other services. Free food and clothes at All Soul's, North Fort Myers, on Wednesdays.

Just go there, fill out an application, then speak with the volunteerr manager in charge to let them know your interest to volunteer. Maybe it can help.
Yes and if you want a Turkey mashed potatoes and gravy to go they will do a whole meal for your family just call ahead.

Here in Ft. Myers you can go to the Mission on MLK by the flea market. They will not allow the dog to be with you. Another choice is Salus care on Evans. Still the same. No pets allowed. The Mission requires you to get up and go at 5 am after breakfast to find a job. Very limited help here. Maybe someone can care for your dog through the transition?

He does need some kind of ID. But even if he has none they will still help. He can get food.

You can get food from them every 3 months. You need your ID and a picture ID SS card maybe a birth certificate for everyone who is getting food. Soup kitchen is free don't need that stuff.
