This place is no good!..I have 1 pm appointment to get religious exemption letter. I came there before 1:00 and they have me waiting until almost 3:00 pm. It took me twice to go back to the registration window before they take care of me! Then two person just came. And they call them quickly! I heard the other one have 2:40 appointment and they call her first before me! My appointment is 1 pm. I don't know if there is descrimination going on in this place. Becoz I'm asian. They shouldn't take long to take care of me becoz I just need a piece of paper so I can leave!.

I waited for 2 hours after my set appointment time .. Nurse and doctor himself were very rude to me. Lack of professionalism is noted from the minute you walk in . They couldn't find my health insurance info on their computers . So many red flags that makes me question health care systems now a days.

Just moved to Haines City and call at 4:20 and every time I would call they would say hold on and hang up on me. When I finally got someone at 4:45, she said call Monday to make an appointment so I called back at 4:50 and got a lady that finally helped me but told me they didn’t take Humana Medicaid.

I was so happy with my experience at Haines city health Dept public clinic women services! Specifically the nurse practitioner, she was so gentle with me as I had not had a pelvic exam in a little over 10 yrs! She was very professional and although I am a nurse she educated me on my symptoms and results! I can tell that she treats all her patients with dignity and respect no matter the situation! It is not easy to provide services for another health professional in such an intimate private environment! They say we are the worst patients and some of us are! Not only was the nurse practitioner excellent in her customer relations skills but so was the RN Brenda and the medical staff whom drew my blood! I even witness another staff assisting in caring for a patients child! The front desk and registration staff made my front desk experience go so smoothly! For it being a Public health clinic i had an excellent experience! Through experience in working in a clinic to being a patient at other clinics I know it can be quite challenging! Thanks to all the staff there for the awesome experience today!
