I’m giving 2 stars because the first half of my mothers stay was good. She was moved from ICU to room 344 and the staff on this side are absolutely useless. On 7/8 she was seen once that day by a nurse. That doctor Alvarez doesn’t call but Dr Soto called me every day to update me on my Mom when she was on the other side in Room 326. Everyday on the other side, her board was updated with all her visit. As of today just one visit..see photo

Pass this hospital by... it's that bad. New name but nothing changed. It's the bottom of the barrel. Do NOT do hospice here either. Portly female nurse that works the hospice floor at night is rude and has a disgusting attitude. She has no business in the healthcare field. Please let her go work files or something in a back room away from the patients. Entire floors without water and a toilet leaking all over from the bottom seal. I could go on and on and on. Regarding the generic form response: If you want to improve.. you have a LOT of work to do! This area deserves an updated clean facility and a staff that cares. We were not at all impressed with doctors or nurses. Their egos and attitudes don't match their skill levels. The portly night nurse on the hospice floor was working the night of 6/17 and needs to be fired for her attitude. She's horrid. I feel sorry for the next hospice family that encounters her. Turns my stomach.

Absolutely horrible and the doctor that treated my mother is completely rude. She could not walk because she fell, and moving her knee hurt too much which we told him but ignored us grabbed her leg forcefully and pulled it up which she screamed in pain and she kept yelling to stop but he ignored her until we had to move his hand away then accused her how she got to the hospital, and i can just carry her back home.all of this was being done in the lobby because guess what, if you don't have insurance you don't get put in a private room. Then we had to wait in the lobby for 2 hours with no answers. We decided to leave, this is the worse hospital. I live 5 minutes away from here but we decided to go to celebration hospital which is 1 and 30 hours away, at least there they are more respectful and actually listen to paitents and they still help even if you don't have insurance.

This hospital staff gave the BEST service to my Mother last night after she had an horrible fall at home. As my husband entered the hospital they quickly took her inside and gave her all the attention she needed. Some people just take time to leave reviews when they have a bad experience but I'm taking the time to leave a positive review as well and say THANK YOU to all the doctors and nurses envolved last night may 12th 2022.

Like my question stated, they never care for people. They misdiagnosed my mom with UTI instead of cancer and THEY lied to us. She didn't have UTI, she had cancer. I wish I can sue them >:(

No you don't need an appointment go to the Adventhealth on Cypress gardens boulevard it's on your right hand side heading toward Winter Haven it's not it's kind of like right across from Burger King and they will if you're having symptoms they will give it to you for free and they'll tell you that they will call you with your diagnosis and we received our diagnosis for we ever got back home to Lake Wales so that's all the information I got.

I was hospitalized last month and from the Emergency, since I went until they admit to me that same day in the 3rd-floor. All nurses, doctors, and staffs worked in Advent Health Hospital in Lake Wales, Florida is extremely professional, care taking, and positively good in all aspects.
There is not a dentist on staff at the Emergency Department.
