went there to pick up some items for a close friend. waited about 40 mins just to receive them. looks like the employees were busy but there sense of urgency can improve. the building needs some cleaning like the entrance way.. the clients were nice.

I'd rather be in a position to help others than be helped but those staying there at the time were friendly and staff seemed to care about helping others for tbe most part, really need to be in a place wear am not suurounde by others with masks though. Was transferred to Fairview Rec Center and don't have personal Fridge to store food in and just stuffed in a gym, at least am warm though

Great place to get back on your feet they have all the tools you need from social workers to work planners they have a special building for the handicapped and injured internet computers, lockers. The staff is really nice and caring and will do their best to help your situation. They have a program to help you learn how to have a work schedule. All the basic needs to get back on track. I now have 2 jobs and a nice apartment because of them

Brother Francis Shelter is a good place temporarily. She may have to leave her dogs in the vehicle, unless they are service dogs. Brother Francis can help with food stamps, and she can get on the housing list also. Have her apply for the in-house program there. If she's accepted; she will at least have a roof over her head for the winter. And anyone staying there is kept strictly confidential, unless it's the police. I hope this really helps your friend. I no longer stay there myself, but I do recommend it. There is also the gospel rescue mission on east Tudor rd. 2328 east Tudor rd. I recommend that one even more. It's a lot cleaner and quieter and safer.
More accurately for non-inhoise clients, people start lining up as early as 4:15 PM, but the check-in process doesn't begin until 5:00 PM. Checking in is open until 11:00 PM, or until the shelter has reached capacity, which ever comes first.
