How could anyone not adore this wonderful bookstore. If you are ever feeling blue (or even if you are not) come to the store and your spirits will be renewed by the books, jewelry, toys, cards, etc. and the lovely staff. So grateful that it has stayed in business for 50 years. It's my go-to store for books.

Wonderful bookstore. Travelled 180 miles to visit. Very browsable. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. For instance we were looking for books for 3rd grade readers in particular topics and we were shown right to them and got additional information from the person helping us to compare books. Will be traveling back to the store again, though we did also purchase a majority of our Christmas presents.

I love this shop! Did some much needed Christmas shopping 🛍 🎄 Found beautiful earrings for my mom and fun activity books for my freinds kids! Their loyalty program is one I actually use, and their staff is super helpful. If they don't have a book they'll order a copy for you quickly.

Schenectady is lucky to still have a community bookstore. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. If they don't have it, they're very welling to order it. Treat yourself and visit Jay Street, grab a cup of coffee, browse a book, and support our local businesses.
