If I could leave 0 stars I would! I own my own land which was known from the start, I did the pre approval with bank for maronda, picked out floor plan and was told I have to be on waiting list cause they can only sell so many a month. I got on the list in OCTOBER 2021, I was told only 8 people in front of me so just 2-3 months then we can lock in contract. Well each month that kept extending over and over, I even witnessed new people in the sales building being told they only need to wait about a month...everyone was cutting in front of me. I emailed the supervisor and got no response. I was told there is no number or anyone to call thats higher up to speak to me. Finally one employee admits they aren't wanting to build on private lots at the moment. would have been good to know back in October! I'm still on this "waiting list" and it's not July....so thanks Maronda, had you been honest in the beginning I could have used another builder before prices sky rocketed

After a 6 month delay in building and a mold mitigation, they demanded we close on the house 12/31 (year end, month end, quarter end) with master bathroom shower and tub inoperable with promise to complete several weeks out. Windows not caulked, indoor molding and paint not completed. Refrigerator not installed at walk through. Electrical wiring needed repaired. In addition, they increased the purchase price $8k last minute. Peter Mcconaughy, the division president was no help. He was difficult to get in touch with but we were told he was the only one that could help. He didn’t want to hear about our situation. He was unprofessional when he did respond. Huge disappointment! Buyer beware!!

Our experience with Maronda was GREAT!!! The original lot that we had wouldn’t fit the house that we wanted so we ended up canceling our contract but they were able to get us into the house that we wanted on a different lot in a faster time frame. Ms. Kathy was AMAZING!!! Always willing to help with what ever she can and treating you like family! My only negative experience was with my mortgage company AFR... Aside from that Ms. Kathy from Maronda, Ms. Megan from Citrus Lending and Ms. Barbara from Keller Williams were like the DREAM TEAM!!!
