Driver finally got here on Monday said he tried to deliver package around 10:45 AM Friday, I was here. This is medicine I was waiting for. I use a cane my doorbell didn’t ring and nobody knocked on the door I was sitting here 20 feet from the door. Attempted delivery time should be put on a sorry we missed you notice!

Always have lost packages with this carrier here at Sarasota. Today I had a notice that my package was delivered, I went to check in the mail room ( living in an apartment complex) there was no package to be found. So I went in and checked at the office, the manager told me that the UPS truck came, put all the packages in the mail room on the floor ( not in the mail box) the manager said to the ups delivery driver to bring packages to the front doors, since the packages are not allowed to be left just in the mail room unlocked. So the guy just took the packages and took them back on the truck and left!!! This is so bizarre! So customer service didn’t resolve the problem, I have no idea where my package at right now. This is an ongoing problem with this carrier. Worst!

UPS driver said he delivered a package to my house on 11/20 at 4:17 but I never got a package. I have Ring door bell and no one came to my door that day. I worked 40 years in trucking and know a little something about this.

This is the worst distribution center. I was suppose to have a package delivered to a job site I’m superintendent of. It was originally scheduled for delivery on Saturday 10/9 and the job site was open from 7am until 3pm and has 3 entrances… at 10:30am the driver marked the delivery as “recipient not available to receive package” Then they scheduled the delivery for Monday 10/11, when it wasn’t delivered by 3pm when the job site normally closes I stood out by the road waiting for the package to get delivered to make sure they didn’t mark the package as undeliverable again. The tracking showed that the package would be delivered by 7pm… I stood out by the road for over 4hrs waiting for this package. Around 7:15pm I saw the ups truck delivering a package across the street so I was ready for our package to get delivered. As the driver left the other delivery I waved at him so he could see I was on site and ready for the package to be delivered… the driver drove right past me and continued down the road. I assumed maybe he had another delivery just past me and would turn around but after a couple mins I checked the tracking again and it said that the driver marked the package as undeliverable again! I called customer support a few minutes later and they told me that someone from the local distribution center would call me and the delivery would get to me between 9am and 10am the next day… it’s the next day at 10:07am and the my still have not delivered my package and again it shows that it will get delivered by 7pm. I called again and was told the local distribution company would call me right back and I’ve still not heard from them. If you have any opportunity to choose anyone else to deliver your packages in this area please pick anyone other than UPS to deliver for the Sarasota area. This is the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. Avoid at all cost!!!

If you preprint the Amazon label they will accept the package. If you need the label printed, use the UPS mail shop at US 301 & Ringling.
If you're dropping off a package,your best bet is a UPS store not the box. Their are at least two in the area.
Make sure to bring at least one form of Government issue ID as well!

I would like to sing the praises of Tavares, he is my regular driver in Carolina estates 34237 Sarasota Fla he is the most pleasant and courteous driver we have ever had. my packages are never damaged, he is always on time greets you with a smile. he is just fabulous. I called the 800 number got someone who did`nt speak English trying to compliment him what a joke when i finally got a survey I referred to him as T instead of his name .he is fabulous please dont take him away from us. he deserves a shout out. one of the best drivers you have. He is WONDERFUL.

UPS Ground packages are generally delivered anytime Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m.and 7:00 p.m. (and sometimes later) to residences, and to business addresses during their normal business hours Monday through Friday. UPS Ground packages cannot be scheduled to arrive at a specific time of day.
You need to put the measurement and weight in their website and they can give you an approximate price.
