It was a very nice and very well maintained military museum. Went with my son and nephew. I'm retired Army my son is in the Navy and we all loved the flight simulators.

Simply amazing! A wonderful tribute to American history and our veterans of all generations. The volunteers and staff (almost all veterans by the way) privide a great experience. This location is just a few blocks from Fisherman's Village. You can even get a golf cart ride from that place to the museum. You could spend hours at the museum with kids and grandkids too. Virtual reality goggles, flight simulators, laser target practice, video documentaries, guided tours by veterans, and so much more.

One of Punta Gorda's best kept secrets. I am not a veteran, but I appreciate so much those who sacrificed and served for the freedom I have today. The Museum is a showcase with the Military Heritage artifacts that are represent all branches of the Armed Services. The Veteran guides are knowledgeable, professional and attentive. The admission price is very low. Don't miss the simulated "flying" exhibit. Dozens of planes and jets to choose from... And the Gulf Theater...Wow!

The Museum offers two experiences for its visitors. The gallery experience, which includes the galleries and exhibits on the first level is admission free - donation suggested. The full museum experience which includes; theater programs, more exhibits on the second level, the library, aircraft simulators and virtual reality exhibits, requires a $10 member-day pass ($8 for veterans and youth 13 and under). Five years and under is free.
