Post master Kim is unwilling to fully listen to complaints and has ZERO empathy for the elderly. My mother who can not go to the community mailbox to get her mail has it home delivered. It has been 8 days and no mail (extremely rare for her not to have mail). I went to this location to find out if there was an issue and the mail clerk was helpful. She called the carriers and informed me the mail would be delivered tomorrow. She then told me they are a little short staffed and the have to share a vehicle for home deliveries. Next day came, no mail. So my mother called and the gentleman she spoke to said when the mail carrier gets back he will send them out again to deliver to us. Again, Nothing came. So I called back and he said he never told my mother they would come back. Even though she is 80 her mind and memory is fully intact, trust me. He said he told her it would be tomorrow. This morning I called and spoke to the post master, of course I am very frustrated and trying to explain what has occurred step by step so she has all of the information. She said she would come to my mothers community to physically check the mail. I asked if I could meet her there to just verify there was actually mail, She said no. Since we were told 3 different things by 2 different people I was not trusting she was actually going to go and check the mail. She was offended that I was questioning her integrity. Can you blame me?? If my staff was promising or conveying false information I would want to know. As the conversation went on and she was talking over me she then said we are done and hung up on me. I was just trying to get her to listen what we have been told. Sadley, this post office location is a Jekyll and Hyde place. I have been happy with most of the interactions I have had, but this time it has left me bitter, frustrated and untrusting of them. Especially the "post master". Fianlly, today we got the mail delivered and it was bundled up in a rubber band and stuck out a above the mail box. CLEARLY they have been holding her mail. Sure enough; ALL of her financial statements were in it. The ones we were inquiring about. Beware.. if you expect home delivery in a timely manner, dont hold your breath.

I mailed a Priority Mail 2 day letter to California on March 5, 2022 I was told it should arrive its destination by end of day Tuesday march 8. By Friday March 11, the letter was still in transit, tracking wouldn't tell me where it was. So I went to the Ellenton post office to inquire about my mail. The clerk told me that she is unable to help me, but she would pass it on to her manager and he/she would call me. By Monday March 14, the letter was still in transit and nobody from the post office called me. So I went back to the post office and spoke to the clerk, who again told me she cant help me and that she will give my info to the manager so he can call me. Today is Tuesday March 15, nobody knows where the letter is, and nobody from the post office called me. I understand things get lost in the mail, but this is all about customer service and following up. This was a $30K check that needed to be in California by the 12th, that's why we picked 2nd day priority mail.

A while back, I had a problem with a post office in South Florida. I noticed one of the reviews for it said: These people will not answer their phone for anything. Today, I am trying to find out more info on how to print my Click-N-Ship labels to a 4x6 thermal label printer rather than onto 8-1/2 x 11 paper. When in the settings, I did not have much luck, but I did see something about alternate ship from zip codes. So I looked up the post office I generally drop off my packages at, which is not my residence zip code. And I see this same review. Don't know if it is from the same person. But it put me on the defensive to speak highly about my post office. I am in there twice a week. I hear the phone ring occasionally and I hear it being answered. This post office is easy to get in and out of, it has a large lobby, and extremely friendly and proficient people working there. So don't always believe the whiny cry baby reviews. This post office is one of the best I have used in my business for the last 19 years.

This post office is horrible. I have had to speak to the manager and the post master and of course, no one cares. Mail carrier is lazy and sometimes delivers the mail and sometimes doesn't. She makes excuses as to why she isn't delivering it. One excuse was that a yard service truck was blocking the mailbox. We checked the cameras and there was no yard service truck around the area. I am so tired of the excuses and laziness. Can't wait to do away with govt. mail service, awful!!
