My husband and I booked the French cooking class months ago and were looking forward to it. To our surprise we had to share a station with 2 strangers. This was not communicated to us at booking and this meant our meal was cooked with strangers. It was awful - who was going to stir, cut, add flavor… you also had to stand while eating! They didn’t even bring napkins around.. the staff was walking around while you were standing and grabbing cook ware in front of you instead of allowing you to enjoy your meal. It was rushed and they wanted out of there. The food itself was nothing compared to restaurant quality. Very low quality execution and will not return.

We went there last-night with a group of 8. The store was awesome lots of goods to buy for your home. We were all really excited about trying this cooking class out this was supposed to be a fun experience. From the minute we walked in the “chef” woman I can’t remember her name honestly was like a drill Sargent. She was talking to everyone as if they were second class and like we were children. This is supposed to fun entertainment and group bonding time. We were not there to get a cooking degree from the chef. She was very overwhelming on trying to tell people to stop taking pictures stop talking wash your hands and just kept on…. The food that we prepared wasn’t the best but I was open minded. Until I found out how much we paid for the class then I got upset! $150 per couple and you get treated like that and we get cheap flank steak. We will be looking for another venue to try this experience again. This one wasn’t what we thought we signed up for. But as for the store and the rest of its employees top notch.

Took a Date Night for Two Sushi Class, and assumed it was for two. But, we were paired up with another couple. Personally it would have been nice to not share certain things since we were consuming the foods we worked with. Regardless, it was a fun experience and it was nice we could bring our own wine/beer. I do think the quality of food could have been better. Chef instructor was very nice and helpful! Very fun— would like to try another class. You will be sharing with your personal partner each roll (2), and hand roll (1 each).

We did cooking classes here with John and we really enjoyed it he is a great instructor. He's very kind sweet and patient he does a good job of instructing The cooking class on what to do. If someone started to fall behind he came up beside them and helped them. A couple that had been in the cooking classes several times before with other teachers said that he was the best out of everyone. He helped us make a mouth watering chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy and tasted fantastic. We made mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it. For dessert we had a really wonderful pumpkin moose. Of course we made everything that we ate that day and we all felt very proud of ourselves. The environment was friendly and very hospitable. We got a 10% discount off of things in the store from doing our cooking classes. Lots of cool and interesting stuff for sale including Christmas ornaments lol 😆. All the Christmas ornaments were of food Which I found to be quite cute. Great experience I highly recommend everyone to come and try this place along with the cooking classes.
