Extremely disturbing to know that your unable to contact or communicate with your assigned public defender unless & until her/she decides to contact you. Only minutes prior to scheduled appearance before Court. With no pretence whatsoever of actually even attempting to defend you by any standard or definition. Whatever the State prosecutor is asking for is the only option that's presented, either you agree or not. Only in the movies is there any argument, negotiating or questions asked. What happened to representation to the best of their ability? Our entire judicial system is in desperate need of reform.

These Public Defenders do very little to try to defend you. They are phoney and do not care what happens to you. We need to get someone else besides Larry Eger heading up this office. Hard to imagine how any of them live with themselves.

You need to call the front desk when the office is open, or find out who your appointed attorney's assistant is and ring their line. Trying to reach the attorneys directly can be difficult because they are in court so frequently. Best times to call are 8am-noon, 1pm-5pm.
Depends, they will get on an ECR date within 2 weeks. But if they don't resolve it then they probably have a good month and a half before the next date
