when you came here in the 1980s you did so for nostalgia of the 50s. The tinge of disgust that chokes up inside of your throat is part of the experience (too much corn syrup, trans fats and the dust stalactites forming off the styrofoam ceiling panels). The old asian woman servers are surprisingly attentive and caring, and the diner carafe coffee is hot and "clean tasting," if a bit watery. Great place to hit once every few years.

We were visiting from out of town and stopped in for breakfast halfway through our trip. What an amazing lil spot. Since our first visit, we have made it a point to eat there daily. We love the food and the service! The food is made with care and is fresh. I subbed a salad and the salads are are fresh, washed, and crisp, with delicious homemade ranch. A classic BLT is my fave. Dessert is highly recommended too!! Make sure to visit!

The breakfast was Awesome. Big portions. Had the Eggs Benedict with Hashbrowns. Ordered it slightly crispy that's how I enjoy it. My hubby had the NY Steak & eggs. A good, thick portion was seved with eggs cooked med rare. Son had a cheese burger with fries. The staff is very friendly & attentive . We're visiting from Los Angeles. Its been a long time since we've eaten here. Glad the food tastes the same.

A delicious homey place to eat, dine, and relax. They have a diverse array of customers, great service, and really nice old-fashioned decor. The tuna salad was tasty but not presented well. But the decaf coffee was decent and delightful.
