Had an awesome time! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Recommend water shoes or sandals that go around the heel or ankle (as opposed to flip flops).

Kind of a shack that rents tunes. They will pick you up downriver and bring you back. The Shenandoah river is lazy.

First!!! Google the river!!!!!! The people here are very nice but fail to tell you the river is extremely polluted, kids in our group got sick in that water, I asked a local about tubing and he said " you wouldn't put your feet in that water if you knew what was in it". It's a shame money is more important than peoples health and safty down there. I got out of the river with a leach on me. All the cattle and chicken processing farms run into that river along with the plants waste that runs through the streams. Great for kayaking but stay out of the water!!!

It's 1 miles and takes anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half.
They have special tubes for coolers with bottoms. I would think with a blanket in bottom smalk dogs would be ok. Id still call first!
