Great club house, great casting pool to practice fly fishing. People are always helpful to anyone wanting to learn how to fly fish. I’ve made some wonderful friends and learned a lot here!

I used the casting pond to practice with 4wt. Flyrod. You can do alot of practice in a short time. Shoulder gets tired fast, especially after surgery to repair it after an injury. Water was clear today, clean, lite breeze. All good, 10 & 2, slow and easy, does it.

Excellent place to commune with peeps who love fishing. Everyone is welcoming and very forthcoming with advice or help if you need any. It's such a fun sport! I've never had that snooty vibe mentioned by one reviewer. The club does have an interest in preserving fish and fishing grounds because of their of the sport. I actually think that's really a great thing.

This club is phenomenal. My son and I are saltwater anglers but my son showed an interest in fly fishing. We attended a youth clinic and learned so much about the culture of fly fishing. It is a great alternative to conventional fishing. .

You can stop by the Casting Pond Clubhouse any Sunday between 1 and 5 p.m. and chat with members and get membership information then. We meet the second Thursday of every month at the San Marino Masonic Lodge at 7 pm and visitors are always welcome. Check out our website at www.pasadenacastingclub.org. I love being a member of this club! It's a great club for fly fishing enthusiasts of all skill levels and it's very family friendly.

Is this a trout pond or bass pond.

You can pretend it's whatever you want, it's just a practice casting pond. It was designed for flyfishing but people work on their spin casting too. Open to public sunrise to sunset, club house open Sundays 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Come check it out!
