OMG. There are such wonderful people working there! They were so helpful to me. They have done such great cleaning and improvement. This time my tears were of joy when I left. They helped me find information and grave sites.They deserve much love and blessings

Celestine Bishop has done a phenomenal job restoring the cemetery and honor to the cemtery and the city of Compton, I have family buried there... im so happy I can walk the sacred grounds with pride and not sorrow 😊

Is there still a connection of finances between Woodlawn and Lincoln Memorial Cemeteries? I heard there was a connection.

There has never been a connection that I know of. They are separately owned and operated.

Does anyone know what is going on with this location—my grandparents and uncle are buried there and we have not been there for years and I remember hearing something about them digging up bodies and reselling the plots when my mom we tried to check

My brother is buried there.. The grounds are opened and I just went by a few weeks ago. It is currently in the hands of a Non-profit and they have cleaned and re- landscape the grounds.

Why when I went to see my mother the gate was locked an no one was not there something is no right there phone is off.an it look like a dump.

It doesn't look like a dump anymore (Jan. 2021) please go by and have another look. It is open most days. New management for now. Not sure how long this will last so please go soon.
