The worst in billing a nightmare overcharged patient no bill was sent in fact it was sent to an incorrect address. No idea until a billing collector placed it on my credit report. How's that for lousy service. Reader check your credit report.

What a ridiculous situation we’re in here. A $3,000 bill because our doctor oddly decided to call these people who run the ambulance over and blindly, without thinking, take a patient across the street who clearly didn’t need this costly service. Lord, help us fix this healthcare mess.

After more than a dozen ambulance rides in the last 4 years West Med McCormick decided that one trip wasn't "medically necessary" and other forms of transportation could have been used.--submitted it that way to medicare causing medicare not to pay for the trip. For a partially paralyzed Parkinsons patient who is obviously ill to need a trip to the hospital, it was absolutely necessary and the only form of transportation that could be used. Though after billing us the 1300. dollars they did accept the amount that insurance usually paid them but only after I asked. I think the only purpose was to see if I would pay the 1300. We will never use this service again.
