Easy to use and friendly staff. It can get a little tough to navigate as the top of the mound gets smaller. Does not yet have plastic or aluminum can recycle containers. That would be nice.

It's a good place to dump various items; from home garbage to concrete or branches. MOST of the staff is nice and/or helpful. But there is a rude dozer driver. Nonetheless, great place to dump.

There really isn't ever a line at the landfill in Tehachapi.
Kerncounty.com, you fill out an application and then when a job is posted you can apply (gate house attendent or waste aid are the basic ones). The general trash area are overseen by contractors, and i belive you'd have to talk to them individually. It can take some time, just keeping checking for when they post them. Good luck!

I'm not sure about them being open every day of the week, but it's definitely open Monday to Saturday until 4 PM. I believe they open at 8 or 9, and their hours are posted on their website.
