Placed order and paid over the phone. The person that took my order was very courteous and answered all my questions. Pickup was very easy. Just went in and provided my name and order info. Then, drove around back and someone loaded the pallet into my truck. The sod was still fresh and moist. I was able to lay sod the same day and was surprised and happy that it appeared that there was some extra included with my order. So far, the sod appears to be taking well. I am watering 3x per day for first 3 weeks until it is well established.

Got some great SOD at a cheap rate. It was a quick process for pick up too. I pulled around to the back and had 250 sq ft of SOD loaded in about 5 minutes.

My husband and I hired a designer to redo our backyard. She recommended Kurapia as a drought friendly alternative to grass. She didn't know much about it, we knew nothing about it, but we decided to give it a try. I called WCT with questions and luckily they sent me to Dani, whom I now call "Guru Dani." She went ABOVE and beyond helping me understand all about this product, answering my questions via email and phone, sending me pamphlets about watering/herbicide/fertilizer (that she researched and developed), and finally even making a visit to our home to give me advice. It's incredible. No one else during our 3 month project took this time and gave this effort. Not even close. When she visited our home to advise about the Kurapia, she even gave me insight into many of our plants/trees. She knows her stuff. Kurapia is an amazing plant, I highly recommend it, but Dani is a gem. I am so grateful for her and WCT should be, too. PS: if you see brown around the edges of the Kurapia, it's because we had our patio stained and the stain damaged it. Dani assured me the new growth will cover that up, though. So it's not typical of Kurapia, it's just a result of the staining.

A year ago we had "Platinum" grass sod from W.C.Turf installed in our backyard. Now there are a lge # of dark green grass tufts sticking out from the light-colored (wintertime) Platinum grass. It's a different grass entirely. What's up with that?

Because warm season grasses like your Platinum paspalum can go into dormancy in the coldest winter months, other varieties can sprout up while the Platinum is half asleep. These other varieties can be from previous overseeding, or wild seed can blow in from birds, wind, etc. Once it warms up, the Platinum will wake up and take over again to choke out any of these wild varieties that have popped up while it's snoozing. Platinum is great for its ability to not go completely dormant in SoCal's mild winters, but it's pretty normal for other varieties to pop up when it's not at full strength.

We put in Palatino (? Sp) turf several years ago. Parts are now turning very brown and dying. Why would that be? It gets regular watering.
